why the negative comments it's not a brand new transit he doesn't spray vans for a living, he doesn't work for Ford spraying vehicles for a living, so chill out people, I love what he has done, so what of it has dents like I said its not new, he's happy with it so everyone else jog on, keep up the good work love the colour

Looks a lot better than it did how many litres of paint did you use if you can remember I’m looking at painting my transit very soon

Thanks man! Yea all I wanted to do was bring it back to being flat and no rust 😃 I used one big 10l tin I think with some thinners as that paint was really thick

@@TrackAndBeyond yes your right but i feel you rushed it why filler it just to sand the filler back out leaving dints in the back doors. Why mask it off just to do a shit job of it leaving overspray everywhere. Also i will be doing the exact same with my van but i will be using the proper equipment and proper paint. You can wet sand laquer and polish it up, you cant do that with just paint like you used. Im no keyboard warrior and i hate trolling people its just ive sprayed a lot of things in my time and they didnt always come out right sometimes down to reactions but ive redone it. I know youre just trying to make youtube content but id do quality over quantity

@@Jason-ew4kf I agree with you but this was a £1000 van I was never going to recover the money and extra time spending £100’s on buying automotive paint etc. I just wanted to stop the rust and make it look a little better not perfect. I have painted a couple of car related parts “properly” using all correct methods etc and had good results I know what it takes and takes a lot of time and money which as I say I was never going to recover on a van that I knew I wasn’t going to keep for too long. Also the overspray on the horrid plastic bumpers I had later gone over with gloss black and made sure any overspray that got though on the windows etc I scraped off so didn’t look horrendous and certainly looked a million times better than when I first bought it

Pass no remarks of the paint police and before anyone asks I've been painting stuff since I was a kid , from spraying furniture to metal etc , yes you could spend hundreds on paint , and another grand on a Divilbus or sata spray gun and the guts of another grand on a decent compressor , for what ? A van worth the price of a decent gun ? At the end of the day you could pour the f*cking paint on outta a bucket if your willing to do the sanding , keep doing your thing man , I enjoyed that , there's a teen out there somewhere on a shoestring budget looking to do this to his civic 😂, can't wait to see the finish , best of luck .. p.s I happen to like those dents , shows she been around the block .
