Martin, I love your backpack, It looks like it holds a lot of gear. I think I would tie some little flags on trees to mark my trail if I had to make my way to the spring for water with no beaten path. Your very good at knowing where your at in the woods.
Thanks Martin for the calming video this morning. Having a rough time sleeping and thinking about upcoming surgery in a few days always nice to watch you and nature in harmony.
Hello Tom. I don’t know you but wish you luck with you surgery. I have been watching Martin’s Cabin for years. I recently had back surgery and have surely enjoyed the videos. Prayers for your procedure and a speedy recovery.
You need some stickers for your windows and door I see. I do not think those clear jelly things but maybe opague with a white background. You are a Windex wiping machine there... :) Hello, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!
You make me laugh when you holler out the word food. You are an inspiration to me on your work ethic and how you like to relax in the chair looking at the trees. Thank you for your time that you share with us.
Hi Martin: I appreciate the point you seem to be making. I've had a chore reconciling the evolution of my life to the passing years. When i first wake up the planning is that of a much younger person. By the time breakfast is finished I have aged into my 80's. Slowly , I'm learning to put frustration aside & be pleased with what I did accomplish by the end of the day. Stay safe & thanks Brian 81
What a beautiful day you had up. It looked like one of those that are perfect for any outdoor activity. It’s been a gloomy wet one here. It seems to a fitting day to start another cycle of the dreaded chemo. This past Monday’s MRI showed that the little bugger had shrank some, and the doctor wants to zap it some more. No complaints from me today after seeing the devastation of that small Kentucky town hit by a tornado. As always, God bless to you and your wife sir.👍
Thank you for sharing again Martin! Always makes me smile when you post a new video! Like some others below ,it's good to see some normalcy. Cheers to you and Vonnie for providing content that is honest, truthful, and wholesome. May God bless you both!
Vonnie still hasn't sent me any of her world famous cherry pies so I broke down and made an apple crisp to go with my coffee while I watched you go (kind of) slow today. I find as I get older I have many more slower days than hard working days, but I am ok with it. Thanks for sharing.
Martin- We had a grouse hit at our cabin once.Went thru the window, the shade and ended in the other room! Our brother-in law said they get “crazy days”about the time they are on their own and get scared easily and act like that.👋❤️Love your show!JME
Yeah, you definitely don’t want to work too much! I always used a pair of diagonal cutters to harvest the breast pads from the birds I used to eat. They work real well.
Vonnie’s World Famous Cherry Pies always seem to come through in a clinch. How many times have we seen Big Martin run out of gas only to quickly recover after partaking of a fresh crispy VWFCP. A miracle to behold
Martin , I might of missed it in one of your other videos, but do you treat your water from the spring before you consume it (boiling etc. ) Water can hurt a person if not properly taken care of .
Martin, this year, I became an empty nester, got covid, lost my Mom unexpectedly while caring for my terminally ill sister and her husband. Fought threats from our feckless leader and employers over a dictate promoting hysteria and all the usual things life throws at you. I think I would have lost it by now, if I had no other place to go to escape the madness. Through it all, your videos have been a haven for normalcy. Just watching you be you drinking coffee or feeding the birds, gave me a moment to get a grip. Keep it up Martin, we need you out here.
you also are a great help Mary, i hope i can be half as strong as you as the inevitable realities of life happen. Always thought i was strong but i feel myself wanting to run and hide from it all, my father is in nursing home and has given up on living, he wants to die and i feel so inadequate to the situation. thank you for sharing
Martin has a huge extended family out here who enjoy our morning coffee with him vicariously. Losing a parent is always a shock even when you know it is coming, lost my Dad in August.
Wonderful video. Thank you sir. Shame about the bird, but you totally did the right thing. It lives on in you. 👍 I heard the pie isn't very nice.... You might as well let me have it. 🤣🤣🤣
You had some beautiful October days at the cabin. Mighty rare to wear short sleeve shirts at that time of year. Are the solar panels producing well high off the ground? Take care.
Given my brother Martin's history of putting a ladder up on the roof of the family farmhouse to reach a broken oak limb with a chain saw... did I understand correctly that you used a ladder up in a tree!
