Just looking at Viktor Johansson's stats in comparison to Meslier it's a crime that we didn't make the simple upgrade in the summer. Johansson has already won Stoke points on multiple occasions.

That howler was so so bad. It looks worse each time I see it. Prime slapstick comedy. It was even worse than Gordon Strachan's own goal in the Charity Shield against Liverpool in 1992. It has to be one of the worst goal keeping mistakes of all time. 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂ I'm sorry to say it but I think we need to drop Meslier. It is embarrassing. Humiliating. The whole Sunderland bench were all laughing at us. The whole stadium was laughing at us. We are the gift that keeps on giving. 💩💩💩

Missed a trick pre season not signing Cooper from Argyle at under £3m now consistently getting clean sheets at Sheff Utd ! Or the lad at Rotherham Johansen who switched to Stoke City. Both top keepers in this división. Meslier unfortunately is to inconsistent, in the main not a bad shot stopper but always prone to a clanger ie Plymouth home, Sunderland Friday. But for me his all round game is just not there, poor distribution, really poor at crosses, punches rather than catches and is not dominant inside his 6 yard box. Rodon and him have clashed numerous times this season verbally, if the back 4 are not confident with whats behind them he has to be changed or we will still be in this division next season.
