I will keep you in my prayers! I am a new subbie and I love your old AND new videos. Since watching your videos, I’ve sat down and asked the questions of why I wanted to loc, what do I want my locs to look like, have I been really taking care of my locs, etc. I’ve increased my water, ordered DE products and trashed the other mess. I get my hair loc’d week after next and I will be ready because Of you. I’m no longer scared to take this journey. I’m ready! Thank you, sir! Thank you.

You will succeed again, Damian. You inspired me when I began my natural hair journey, when I went to cosmetology school (got my license!), and now that I am a natural hair specialist AND loctitian. Yours is the only guidance that made sense to me, and I speak of you as if you were my personal instructor. A man as gifted as you will never fail. God works in mysterious ways! I was up late feeling down about my current status in my life....crying and asking God how much longer do I have to wait to finally reach my destiny in this thing called "beauty industry". As I was scrolling thru youtube, your latest video pops up! I got up to watch your video on TV instead of my phone literally saying "he relaxes me. Let me watch him until I fall asleep"🥺. As I'm watching, I say " oh no! What happened to his hands!?" I notice that something is off...your spirit is different but I am watching you closely with concern. Then I see this video with tears in my eyes because I have a similar story. I AM SO SORRY BABY🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 I lost my fiance in 1997. My daughter's dad in '99. My dad in 2000. Nephew in 2001. 2019 I got breast cancer, finished chemo & radiation 2020 and lost my salon. I'm starting over also..at 56. God has a plan for us☝🏾🙏🏾. I love you and have watched you for years. Loc'd my hair again and my grandsons because of you. My sis also. We just have to trust God and the process. Your fiancé & gma will always be your angels. I still get signs😇💪🏾☝🏾. Love you and praying for those bad days🙏🏾. With God on our side things are already better🥰. #lookupdontgiveup

I love your videos and hair care information. Condolences to you. I hope you will continue to make more teaching videos because some of these so called stylists need to watch and learn that you don’t shampoo locs with dawn dish washing liquid to remove build up.
