Hello, my fellow Tingleheads. Please excuse the tardiness of this week's Time Travel Tuesday - The Force was NOT strong with the upload times. This week's topic is the timeless epic space opera, Star Wars. So I hope enjoy it, you will. Relax, you should.
Note: As mentioned in the video, there will not be a vote this week! I'll be surprising you guys next week with my own Time Travel Tuesday topic choice. Try and guess what it will be in the comments section! :D

I have a joke that's pretty bad. Mel Brooks said it tonight on "Conan". A man passes by a zoo when a voice calls him over. "Hey, you gotta get me out of here" the voice says. "This place is crawling with *snakes*, they're all over the place!! Get me out!" And the man replies, "I can't... you're a snake." lol I think I was the only one (viewer or audience member) who laughed.

When I met David Prowse I asked for an autograph and he signed it: "To a TRUE Star Wars fan, from the REAL Darth Vader". To be honest I'm pretty sure that his voice wouldn't have worked in the film; he has a very strong West Country UK accent.

In Star Wars there is no "good" or "bad". There is the light side (jedi), and the dark side (sith). The jedis use the Force for protection of the galaxy, and believe in justice and balance. The sith use the Force for their personal advantage, and believe in power and passion. That is the main difference between the two sides of the Force.

Being born in 1997 I agree with you. But the original had better characters. Episode 3 was the saddest for me. When it came out in theaters and I went and balled my eyes out when order 66 was ordered and mostly all of the Jedi were killed. As an 8 year old boy I saw all my heroes be slaughtered in front of my eyes

I was born in 95, so I grew up with the prequels and the originals, and I love them both just the same. Yes, there are elements of the prequels I loathe, (I shudder to think of all the Jar Jar merch I had as a kid) but there are also things I like (Ewan MGregor is a great actor in them and Darth Maul became my generation's Boba Fett) And as to Lucas' revisions to the OT, while I understand the artist desire to go back and fix perceived problems, certain changes are inexcusable, like editing out sebastian shaw's face at the end of Jedi, and generally anything that messes with the narrative of the movie (the revised Jabba's palace scene) Also Han didn't shoot first. Greedo never got his gun out of his holster. All you really should say is Han shot. End of story.

All Lucas has to do in order to get rid of almost all of the anger and criticism is release the original theatrical versions of the original trilogy on blu ray. That's it. It'll all go away... except for the outrage over Episodes I-III, but those crap-fests can simply be ignored (as I pretty much do, lol). Now that Disney owns the rights maybe they will appease the fans and do this. We can hope.

dude have you seen the trailer for Star Wars Rebels by disney? they look like they stepped out of Frozen i'm wondering if we'll hear "would you like to build an R2 droid" anytime soon?

Thomas Don I just saw it last night and I agree. I totally geeked out all over the place. I CANT WAIT!!!!!!! truth is I trusted J.J Abrams because his star trek was pretty good I was just afraid Disney was going to do it's typical Nazi controlling thing and make it childish like Rebels. I was totally wrong after seeing the trailer for episode 7 I am soooo stoked it looks freaking EPIC!!!!
