Time Value of Money in short TVM is the value of money depending upon the time.
What is Time Value of Money - Time Value of Money:
In financial analysis or financial analysis techniques, If an investment in a project is done today capital budgeting) and the cash flow from the investment is coming in future. So, the cash flow must be discounted to today's value. It isTime Value of Money!
Example 1: In simple words, A 2000Rs. receivable after an year is ONLY 1652 Rs TODAY!
