Holy ---! That first 15 seconds could be the opening of an AAA movie score. Seriously, it just comes in with that bass line. Damn. Before even getting into the song I'm already pumped!
Even after decades of obsessive listening I can’t get enough Chrono Trigger music! Thanks for keeping this masterpiece alive! You have my eternal gratitude! xoxo
It blows my mind how you don't have more subscribers than you do. All your stuff is incredible everytime. I went looking for some decent orchestral covers of my favorite videogame songs, then I found this channel and that was the end of that because I found everything!
Wow thank you that means a lot to me! I just try to make songs that capture the feelings the originals invoked and dive into that connection, rather than just "remake" the tracks. So I'm glad my work connected with you :)
All of your music just blows me away my guy. Your Schala's theme remake actually put me to tears the first time I heard it and I think my favorite overall piece is your Ocean Palace. I always find myself coming back to your remakes, and would actually scream with happiness if you covered either something from the Fire Emblem Franchise or a song from Secret of Mana or Trials of Mana. Even if not, keep up the great work and I hope more people find this channel because this deserves more views.
I LOVE THE INTRO. It gave me chills! I’ve never heard an arrangement of the intro made so perfectly before now. I’d love to hear the Chrono Trigger main theme with the power put behind the intro to that!
Actually, after listening to this again, I will say this is the most perfect arrangement of this theme I have ever heard. You capture the spirit so beautifully, and it's an incredible experience to listen to it!
I've listened to 9 seconds of this, and it was enough to tell me this is the best remake of this maybe ever made. It feels fresh new I love it, this was my childhood favorite and you have perfectly modernized it for me thank you! Liked and subed.
I knew I was in for a treat after the first few seconds played. This is one of the sexiest chrono arrangements to make my eardrums dance! I loved the crazy directions you went with the bass, by the way. Love it!
I must say your adaptations of this masterpiece-of-a-game are incredible. This theme takes me from the Future era to the Medieval, to the climax of 3:27 which I feel is the sacrifice of Crono. Please keep up this awesome work
I think you really captured the adventure part of the game but most importantly the courage of these characters to confront the odds they did! Truly the human spirit in this piece, it gives me strength and hope! Thank you for your efforts. 👏
How have i missed that the first dozen times I've heard this? 3:42 You put in the elemental melody from Chrono Cross's fight with the Time Devourer. Nicely placed, and a very clever call-out. Very well done, Sam.
Might have to just be content with the little cutscenes in the DS port :/ ... at least they were good. Don't know if those were in any other versions though, I don't remember them being on the SNES but it's been awhile lol
I can't wait till your next Cinematica album! Your albums are some of my favorite albums and I'd love to hear more! I've bought your Metroid album and I'm planning to get your Zelda, Chrono Trigger, and Xeno Cross albums. I have some suggestions/ soundtracks I'd like to hear Cinematicas of: Emblem Cinematica, (Fire Emblem actually has a lot of great music in my opinion. I'd want you to focus more on the older games as the old tracks sound less orchestrated than the new ones) Fantasy Cinematica, (Don't know much Final Fantasy music, but I'm sure I'd love a Fantasy Cinematica) Xeno Cinematica, (Once again don't know much music from the Xenobalde series, but I did like your Xeno Cross album), Ok this is very different from my other suggestions, but this series has a lot of great music... Kirby Cinematica, and finally, Earthbound Cinematica! ( I would REALLY like to hear your orchestral remixes of Kirby music because I like a lot of Kirby music, I hope you do too) (Oh, also I really liked your Star Fox map theme and would love a Fox Cinematica.)
Congratulations on your work, I met you through your website where I listened to the songs from the Super metroid. Through you I met Chrono Trigger and fell in love with the game. continue with your work which is super fantastic. Your other Brazilian fan.
I backed the Kickstarter for the new Metroid vinyl album, I ordered the Zelda vinyl off bandcamp... now I NEED a vinyl for this one, so I can complete my "holy trinity" of favorite games for my collection. Please do this! lol :D
Supreme work, the effort you put into your work really shines through. Im very happy to have found this channel, the remixes you make for Chrono Trigger has such weight to them. I can't express how much I appreciate you sharing your passion. Keep being awesome!
I have heard of this through another member of a discord channel I am on and want to know if the score of this for concert band is on sale anywhere in the UK. If we ever get back to being allowed to rehearse
Fantastic rendition! Do you have the full version of the last song you played in the end credits? I can't seem to find it. I'd love to hear the whole thing.
There is a new track (the one in this video), and the rest of the album is an updated with better audio quality and a lot of adjustments to parts of tracks that had issues (such as overly loud or soft frequencies in certain notes, re-balanced levels in transitions, cleaned up a lot of muddy areas etc). So the one on Bandcamp is a better sounding version plus an additional song.
@@SamoStudios thanks i will definetely download again. Your orchestrations are so fantastic. Definetely my favorite i've ever come across.I wish it were possible to here them live.
I feel like the chrono trigger fanbase is broad and large enough to justify some kind of remake of the game, or maybe something inspired by it at least. And when I say remake, I mean FF7 Remake quality of love put into it. There is just not enough great games that involve time travel.
