I was lucky enough to see this song performed live in London, which was only the second time they had done it live, the performance you watched here being the first. I liked it on the album but it hits different in person for sure, now its one of my favourites of the album.

You mention the static in the mix at one point, those subtle effects are almost a theme of The Other One album this is from, Monochrome in particular makes use of a lot of effects like that throughout the song. I remember a few of us were also having a debate around if a particular sound used in Light and Darkness was a washboard or spoons lol

My top favorite Babymetal song of all time. It's the least Babymetal sounding song, but the emotion and power is 100% Su-Metal. Her voice is mesmerizing. I actually tear up every single time i hear this amazing piece. And the choreography is on point and fits the music so SO well. This is the future of metal.

Once again, a very different song from BABYMETAL. I agree, the choreography in this stands out to me as well, especially during the ambient part in the middle. I always love to see Su dance.

Well, it's funny because "Time Wave" is probably my least favorite song from The Other One and also my favorite choreo from this album. But I have to say that I still enjoy this song (a lot) and this live version is much better than the studio one. The visuals and the choreo on the live performance also adds, of course. 🤘🦊
