Without Sweet Belton, Mighty Kingkong's Ladys Choice album would be empty. Man was literally the voice in almost all the songs. Thats how I knew him first. Two years later, Time Will Tell hit the charts, and I wasnt surprised because I had known his ability before. Rest in Power Ssebo!
Nostalgic... 2002. I was young and in std 5. Listening to John Karani and Charity Karimi Saturdays for this song topping the charts for months! I get teary because it takes me back to sweet childhood. Rest in Peace Sweet Belton. Uganda lost a gem!
More than 20 yrs listening to this song. Wow thanks for the upload. KBC Charity karimi and John karani. "Crucial man" Jeff mwangemi and TT nakwala Citizen rythm 2003. Long live reggae
Masterpiece. The song reminds me of my High School days at Njabini Boys High School, Early 2000's Our Principal Jeff asking who Knows the Song? Oh Time we were on Parade one morning
Finally...aish finally....at long last av got this anthem of my childhood days...yaani i missed this song until i wrote a song back in 2006 in order to record it wth the same tune and instrumental!!

I sometimes wish go in the studio and record his songs again and again so that they don't just fade away.. This was the first song that made me realise I loved music. RIP legend you are misses by many😢
20th Dec, 2022 still sounding new! Such a nice nostalgic masterpiece. Thank you so much Calvince Harst. I've desperately been searching for this music typing any part of the lyric but in vain. Initially I thought it was played by Bebe Cool. Let him continue resting in peace.
At last!! Av searched for this song n didn't know the Artist..at some point i thot its Bob marley..thax i got it..cant get enough of it..Sweet Belton indeed!
Calvince Harst, wherever you are, you are LOVED! The first time I heard this song I was from school going home for my holidays. Since then I have been desperately typing any part of the lyrics I imagine I heard then but your guess is as good as mine: couldn't be found. I am really grateful for this.
Guy, so you got this one!! Thanks man... Been looking for it for ages. Now, next up, get us 'Nipe Nafasi nikuonyeshe wazi' by one PIPO (Pewa Ile Poa) and 'Manzi unanipandizia' by a Kenyan group called PAMOJA.
Hey bro, do you his other song: I thank God He gave me a melody, I thank God He gave me a voice to sing, I thank God he gave me family? It played just a few times on radio many years and since then I have never come across it. Ukipata nitashukuru sana
@Patick if I come across I will share it as soon as possible. Just do me one favor to subscribe to my channel for more music tunes in the future. Cheers!
My friend Belton passed away over 13 years ago may he rest peacefully. He does not live in Uganda. RIP Belton you are missed ... This was released between 2001 - 2002 ...
