The guy who played Sam Usher also was the Kromagg dad in that Sliders season 4 episode Where a virus kills Kromaggs if they breath the air on a certain parallel earth Comet aired that episode yesterday and when I heard his voice I kept thinking, Sam Usher has become a Kromagg
He was also in the " pilot " episode of the (non) series Island Planet. He played a half human and half " reck " , humans that had not completely changed into forever youthful humans.
35:17 That woman says she can open that lock because its got a microprocessor and she knows how to override the system. She continues to press buttons, and then the lock opens. No, this is not how microprocessors work. I know. A microprocessor based system is not overridden by pressing buttons external to the box.
In the Nazi episode he said he is born 30 years later, would he not be only 15 in 1989. I don't think the writers have any consistency. I think I know why this show failed and if the inconsistent writing was like it then it seems obvious.
Its crazy that they won't consider what he's saying, they are dealing with time travel after all and changing the past isn't uncommon. lol, every episode they can see what changed in the past but this one they haven't got a clue? plot convience I guess :D
From their perspective he was a perpetual criminal they had tons of run ins with. Besides it is probably a common defense for time crimes, "I didn't do it, my alternate self must have."
That blond girl is back what happened to her in S01E05 🤔 and the boss is back in his normal attire mmm puzzled maybe somebody got their recordings mixed up l don't think they're in chronological order which is _ironic_ 🤔
They're not. The WWII episode was in fact the pilot. After the pilot was recorded, they decided to recast with a new female lead, but for whatever reason, they chose to put that episode in the middle of the season.
Actually, the original intended pilot was the final one that aired. The episode "The Future, Jack, The Future" was meant to be the pilot because it involves Claire's first trip back in time and Jack having a partner. The WWII episode, "Rocket Science", was the episode that convinced ABC to order it to series. Some people have referred to the episode as a "burner", one that was needed to help pad out the season. The changes in aesthetic compared to the rest of the series, like with the character's attire and how the TEC appeared to be darker in terms of lighting, are signs that the writers and producers were still working out the details.
@user-sc5ft5jp9y Chronological Viewing Order: 1. The Future, Jack, the Future. 2. A Rip in Time. 3. The Heist 4. Stalker 5. Public Enemy 6. Rocket Science 7. Alternate World 8. Lost Voyage 9. D.O.A. The episode “Rocket Science” was the conceptual episode to sell to the network. It explains why Amy Fuller instead of Claire Hemmings worked at the TEC and served as Jack’s love interest. Once ABC ordered Timecop to series, they swapped Fuller for Hemmings and added in a quick reference explaining Hemmings’ absence. Fuller was her temporary replacement for two weeks.
Wow. Jack had a scar in multiple episodes and it disappeared in this one because his teenage car crash was prevented. AWESOME! Love this series! Thanks for sharing!
As much as I enjoy the Timecop franchise, I always wondered why the TEC never had protocols in effect that deal exclusively with their agents remembering alternate timelines. An agency that polices time travel is bound to encounter issues where agents remember conflicting timelines...
A point even the original movie from the Nineties never answered :) As the series very recommandable to watch. But hands of TIME COP 2, that was a cheap Asian Kung Fu movie based on the concept. Very disappointing in comarision with these other concepts.
Time travel contradictions here..............................................................................................................................................................................................................You cannot meet a younger or older version of yourself. It's not just "against regulations" as mentioned in this episode. It cannot happen. The same matter cannot occupy multiple space or multiple time. You can get around the space requirement if you are in a different dimension. But, one cannot exist in two different time periods. So, Jack cannot meet a younger version of himself and give himself advice..........................................................................................................................................................................................................There is only one universe timeline. Jack cannot become "evil Jack", change this, and end up as "good Jack". This would be going into "evil Jack's" timeline. Here he is, going into a different past than his own (e.g experiencing evil Jack's past). It's a logical contradiction. It's consistent for both "evil Jack" and "good Jack" to exist in parallel universes, but one can't change into the other.
Well, there's the general time travel ideals and concepts but every so often a show does its own thing. There was the tv show Continnum I believe that created its own time travel theory. It's noted for doing this since most shows follow the same time travel rules so there wouldn't be much confusion.
Until one has actually time travelled, it is difficult to say what can happen. I do know that when one does travel back and returns there is a period of, shall we say disconnect. One is confused, disoriented, dizzy, sick to their stomach and that is not everything. It is a dangerous process but addictive. No matter how you change things, one always lands back at the same spot. However, there are changes but only minor (it seems). The memories are not to be believed but to express them can land one in an "irrerhaus".
Wow their Criminal System is hardcore. A Death Sentence for violating the time stream? At least they didn't fake what a DC Metro Station looks like. I get it now. The Metro tunnels would be a great place to launch the sleds. so in 2007 they built the facility there.
