No biggie, but GOOD synth, really didn't get going until U were either born, or only 1 and if U heard ANY Synth, U wouldn't even remember it...Technically, U R right when U say, when U were born, but U say it as if U were at least 7 and actually heard it then...Actually, REALLY GOOD synth, didn't start 'til about 1980...BTW, Kraftwerk SUX, w/ their outdated mid 70's CRAP...One I love, is Mr. Roboto, by Styx, in 1982, but I was 11, so I remember it well...Check it out !! Ethereal. Dana's voice, Timecop1983's synth sound, the lyrics; all amazing. The fact that newer artist like this, GUNSHIP, and Starcadian aren't more popular is just sad and a testament to the banality of the masses.

Thank you Timecop1983 for allowing our 80s culture to work thru you to take us back to the days that forged us into the adults we are now. The best times in our life. It may not have been perfect. But it was our time to dream and know what it was like to just be carefree and happy.
A SUMMER'S END - HONG KONG 1986 is really a good game, from every aspect: arts, music, story-line, character shaping, etc. I am from Taiwan, Hong Kong is like our neighbor, it's really sad that the freedom is being deprived gradually from them. After playing the game, u will learn so many vocabulary since the depiction the game used is quite precise, and u could also dig to learn a lot of Hong Kong, like Kai Tak Airport, daa laang, dim sum, and so on. As for the story-line, I would not spoil it but to see couples figure their way out toward each other is quite touched. It really matters that who we want to be, and who we want to spend time with; so it is very important to figure out and express our feelings properly. The game shows this point nicely, great work. Last, all I want to say is god blessed Hong Kong, may this beautiful star keep shinning. Once i have the capacity to travel around, i would definitely visit Hong Kong first. The same with Taiwan too! May Taiwan keeps thriving!

Songs made in the past are just so meaningful! Listening to this song made my mind time travel back to the 80's & 90's. Things were simpler, not advanced but at least people were happy. I wish there is someone to invent a time travel machine so that it can take us back to where we are and never to come back to the current state of the world now.
"nothing's the same as it used to be" I feel like this is a telling line for those who, like myself, find themselves overly steeped in nostalgia by this song. Consider it a splash of cold water; there is no turning back.
