I am so thrilled to have found this video we have had this tent sitting in our Pole barn for decades decades and it came with no instructions. Thank you so much for making this video
This tent drove me crazy. We put this tent up 4 times. The tent constantly fell down. Every time the wind came through, this tent fell. Any tips on stabilizing the tent.
As long as the drapes are not too heavy it is strong enough to hold them. There are ropes that come with the tent. Make sure they are firmly tied down to the ground.
@@timecarver hour and a half? Hopefully I’ll get faster at that…..I’m planning on buying one as a temporary shop/painting booth for my projects, so I don’t get paint over spray on anything around me….I’ll also be laying down a ground tarp first
@@justintyme1449 It was very hot that day and other things slowed us down, but if you are experienced it should take you about 30 minutes. I wouldn't trust it to become a temporal shed because it is very flimsy and the slightest wind can blow it down.
@@timecarver well, I did receive it the other day, have not had a chance to even set it up yet, but when I get a chance, I’m planning on setting it up in the back yard, just to see how it goes. First, I’ll replace the tent stakes with the orange plastic screw in type from Walmart or Home Depot…..then after I’ve made sure everything is good, as I take it down, I will not separate each individual pole, I’ll keep some as full lengths and “divot” them to stay together. Since the tent will be packed into my utility bed, I’ll buy a 15-20 foot 4” PVC tube and mount it above the storage toolbox on the truck, as a place to store longer lengths of poles. Mainly this will be just to keep overspray off everything around me as I paint the truck, and possibly if I need to do some work on a rainy day 🤔
Yes this was my first time doing this. There are numbers on the parts, that's why I separated them like is. Then go step by step like the instructions said and it's easy.
@@timecarver ok ty , going to do this by myself with a bigger tent and this tent but adding draping. You did it like a breeze I was wondering if anyone put these up by their self. Glad I found your video
To be honest, on a sunny day it will work great, but on a windy day, it will fall apart. It is just too flimsy to stand in the wind. I would buy it for my party, but I would take it down ASAP.
