Phenomenal for many reasons. Seeing a cutaway view of a functioning machine shop as it makes steps to assuredly reach new heights in its field. The purchase and commissioning of such a machine does not happen lightly. The significance of such an undertaking is illustrated by that thing indeed coming to fruition. If the above comment does not read clearly, consider the prospect of lifting or simply moving even a “large” rock without the aid of straps, or a lever, or even hydraulics. This video would make a good teaching aid, for those more curious about how structures and machines, seemingly sent down from on high come to be. And imho would make a welcomed inclusion in the yearly “people are awesome” montages. Excellent work. Well done 👍
There was a old tin building in Torrance ca. that the city got its hands on to make a new park. With the layout in they sent out bids for the work. It ended up the building made tanks in WWII and the concrete was 10" thick. About enough for 200 car park. They change the layout so as not to have to remove the concrete. Same here.
Extremely impressive! How long did it take from start to finish? Mind blowing to see how much work was done below ground level and how much knowledge is required there. You can't just hire any builder for these jobs for sure! I will be working with some fairly large machines in my next job, looking forward to it!
Thank you for your message, the whole process took about 8 months, starting from the examination of the subsoil. In the different phases we had to undergo 3 different static tests before receiving approval to install the boring machine.
It's the installation of a milling/boring machine Pama Speedram HP1000, from the beginning of the excavation for the foundations to the machining of the first piece.
Также за этим наблюдал. Хотя думаю на самом деле там на монтаж станка ушло не менее месяца. При единичном производстве в принципе норма так часто перенаживать станок. У нас плюс минус также.
A good idea is a good idea. A step forward to be sure though. Modern spindle tech, cutter tech, slide way tech, modern control tech. This machine may be borne of the past but it has firmly jumped into the future.
