The skills in the construction was of a very high standard and i liked the way a Steele reinforced concrete beam ties in all walls to supports the roof .From Australia i hope the very best for you and all Ukrainians.
@@EpicBuildingLowe's on solid cinder blocks right can I ask a question why do y'all not use cement and is that a type of foam or adhesive and will it last as opposed to cement? Another question if they're not cement box are they phone blocks and are they a good choice to use?
Myself from the construction business, , it is a great pleasure to see these guys perform in great professiinal way. Each step of the work is clearly planned and executed. Great video, thanks
L'ouvrier souffle la poussière des briques avec sa bouche et pose la colle sur la poussière et tu appelles çà un travail bien fait ??? Tu es un le meilleur observateur "mais aveugle" du monde.
a tiny detail - I don't see any stone (as per the title - that tempted me to watch). Apart from that building a house in Ukraine, during a destructive war - RESPECT!
We are building the house out of aerated concrete, which is an artificial stone. The house itself is located 5 kilometers from Kyiv, the most protected city. Although our CCTV camera shows missiles being shot down almost every day. Another important detail is that almost all of the men in this video are already at the front defending the country.
L'ouvrier souffle avec sa bouche pour dépoussiérer les grosses briques et met la colle sur la poussière et tu appelles çà un travail de qualité ??? Tu es très fort.
Good building skill sets. I was impressed with the sheet metal roofing set up with rollers press and all. Hopefully none of you get conscripted into the army and put into the meat grinder. Blessings.
those blocks arent going anywhere, did u see how wide they were? plus they have adhesive all over them, a massive reinforced concrete beam poured around the top, and like an inch of whatever the hell that crap they finished the inside with. it would take a strong ass earth quake. and at that point, it doesnt matter what you reinforce it with, if its gonna come down its gonna come down
We don’t have this type of building materials in Australia, I forgot how easy it was to build with those blocks and how quickly you could build a home with them. I remember helping out on a building sight when we lived in the UK in the 70’s one hand saw wad all that was needed to cut them blocks and they were so light in weight compared to other building supplies.
I am subscribing, I enjoyed your video, unlike many comments, I clearly understand the house took many weeks to complete, and that the video is only a timelapse. Very difficult to put a 6/8 week long video on youtube. 🙂
Well-built. The roof sheathing is much stronger than in U.S. houses. Neat how they form the metal roof panels on-site, but the workers fingers get scary-close to the rollers. Looks like porous concrete on both sides of the walls, which must be good insulation. Wonder what material is used on the inner walls. Looks like plaster, but has a long working time.
My admiration for Ukrainians continues to grow. If I were a younger man I’d be there helping their country to defend itself. My wife’s grandfather was from Western Ukraine, before he was forced into service at 10-yrs-old during WWI. He escaped to America with nothing but his life, and retired as a brick mason in Las Vegas.
As others have noted, that’s not anything like a stone house, it’s more of a concrete bunker with windows. But considering the current state of affairs in the Ukraine, it’s remarkable you can even build that much right now. And, sadly, a bunker might come in handy for you all these days. But high marks for affordability!
Phrase "stone house" in Ukrainian describes house from any solid stone-like material - bricks, concrete, aerated concrete, stones etc. Moreover, sane person will not build new house from stones in country with cold winer (such as Ukraine)😄
Amazing work, and an interesting video to watch, with all the different materials and construction techniques. If I had the money I think I would like to have a house built like this is built. Thanks for sharing your experiences with these kinds of construction techniques. Ukraine 🇺🇦 is the best and has my support. 🙈🙉🙊 😎 🇺🇸

Very nice house. I like the simplicity of the design and the use of aerated concrete blocks. Solidly built too and on a budget. Well done. I would love to the final house with kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, furnishings, etc . Also how can I see the plans?

I LOVED watching the video of this crew building the house from the ground up. God Bless em for having the guts to build a house in Ukraine with the threat of Russia still hanging over their heads. FREEDOM doesn't come cheap! :)
Last home I built for my family required jack-hammers to excavate for the footings and we made 3,500 mudbricks for the walls with the roof supported by repurposed railway sleepers.
@@philtucker1224 No, it cost about $AU65,000 in Central Victoria, Australia 32 years ago. 25k went on just getting the power connected. Scavenged a dozen old red cedar double hung windows from the local tip along with many other things plus from garage sales and auctions. Also bought a massive length of old growth Douglas Fir/Oregon which I used to make the northern windows and sills from. It's a split-level home I've not lived in since my marriage ended. Next new home will be a compressed wheat-straw panel granny flat craned in ready made on a block of land beside my daughters home. Was the draftsman for the company for 3 years before leaving to be my late mothers carer.
aerated concrete - material for this house - is very popular now, it is cheap, provides great insulation, perfect material if you want to build house yourself (typical block density is 400 kg/m3). The cost of materials makes this type of houses comparable to houses from wooden frames (typical houses in USA)
You could've spray a little water, before applying the spray foam. It is moisture activated. That's why, when you get some on you, it dries and, a little bit of skin get peeled off with it.
It's anyway to late to say what all is done wrong. I am sure you already finish your dream-house. Would be nice to see the final finishing, like: kitchen, bathroom, all painting inside and outside, carport, garden, .... . But in general it looks great 👍👍👍👍
