"Why didn't you ask the staff or look at the CCTV?" Hate to think of a maintenance costs of such places. I lived in a mansion and the food got cold before it arrived on your plate and the staff wages exceeded the mortgage.

Does anyone else look at mansions like this and think “ I’d be scared shitless to sleep in a house that big?” Seriously, if I heard a creek in the night, it would take me a fortnight to check the 40 rooms to locate where the noise came from. I’d like to have enough money to afford a house like this but if I did, I’d buy an apartment for a couple of million and be far more comfortable.
pirotess2 I get that but even if my whole family lived there I’d still be fucking scared. The only excitement I might get is when I invite people round to show them my house but it’s so ostentatious I’d be quite embarrassed. Imagine you lost something as well, it would take 40 years before you found it again, ie if you were playing hide and seek with your 5 year old daughter, she’d be a grown woman by them time you saw her again. Nope, not for me
A house like this most likely has the most sophisticated alarm system, the residents are probably safer inside it than anywhere else. But yeah, it's kinda freaky to live in such a humongous place...
I can’t imagine living in an apartment! Haha! Good Grief! People right beside me on both sides!? Above me & below me? Seriously? No Way! My house is almost 2,000 sq.ft,. Plus a full basement & enough room upstairs to make 2 more bedrooms & a bath,. If I wanted,. One son lives across the road & one lives next door & when I say next door,. I mean,. There’s about 2 acres & a lake between us! Yeah,. I can’t imagine living in an apartment! That’d be like living in a hotel all the time,. Without room service!!! No Thanks!

I know the Fricks. All great people. I’d be proud to live on a street named after the Frick family. I’m the owner of an appliance repair company and I’ve been repairing the Fricks appliances for at least a couple decades. All solid people and extremely generous as well.

@@imtypingwords No where close. I live in a home like this and my monthly light bill is $25,000 a month. At night is when the power kicks in. The lights outside turn's on to light up the homes. What also run's the bill up is the water fountains and pool.
