I was excited to eat at the Lascari’s on Whittier blvd since I work, so close by to it, but was so disappointed with the food. My favorite was the chicken fettuccine Alfredo but when I got it, my noodles were over cooked the Alfredo sauce, which I loved taste like flour instead of cream I could not taste any cheese in it or they didn’t put enough. You no longer get any soup or salad with your meal and if you want the sour dough bread that is extra. I’ll continue to go to the deli on Lambert.
Here is what to do about your complaint about liking the pasta salad there so much: Go there again tomorrow and as frequently as you see fit, and also learn to make a salad like it yourself. You can learn to make nice results when you learn how to do some of these things yourself.
Okay, for future reference, it really helps to list the meats & cheeses in the sandwich! Irritating that he didn't! So, probably: Pepperoni Spicy Capicola Salami Pepper jack cheese But otherwise? ETA: Online menu doesn't list this sandwich, but it is on their online ordering menu. But it's under Spicy Submarine name. Weird that the Pasta salad isn't listed on either menu by itself, but it's one of the choices for the sandwich on their online ordering manu.
Hot Ham, Hot Soppresata, Hot Calabrese, Spicy Capacolla, Pepperoni, Pepper Jack Cheese Couldn't remember that Hot Soppresata is usually on Spicy Italian subs!
The last meal I had before I moved from so cal to nor cal was Lascari’s. I had the Italian sausage sandwich, it was so good and I haven’t had anything as good up north. That was 2 years ago.
Ever will you try visiting and presenting the LaScari's on Whittier blvd, which was remodeled and was recently reopened, AND RENAMED to NineTeen70-or72 ? Some menu item changing may have been established. LaScari's Deli o Lambert has most of their food the same as the old one on Whittier Blvd.. had.
When the Lascari's on Whittier enclosed their outdoor patio, it went downhill. There used to be a Lascari's on Beach Blvd in La Habra back in the 90s. I think it's a sushi place now.
