Thank you for not trying to sell us a bunch of crap! I’m so sick of trying to get style advice on other channels and just watching a 30 minute ad. Over it!
Great video. I'm personally more fond of the pastels, but I may be using my black pieces more often as I have just adopted a new cat 🐈⬛ She is called Bluebell and she likes climbing on me.
Congratulations on acquiring a mini panther 😊😊😊😊. I miss my beloved Miu Miu 😍😍😍. I don't care about fur on my outfit, it just means that I have a fur baby that loves me 💗
Blown away yet again by how practical and user-friendly your tips are, Alyssa. I thought your camisole top underneath your black bustier with your lacey black skirt was an absolutely fantastic idea. You looked stunning! I love the feminine romantic trend as it probably fits with my three words (which I still have not locked down, can't pick my third 🙄). I totally agree with the more fitted blazer as opposed to the oversized, and your use of the obi belt took it to the next level, in my opinion. You are just so inspirational ❤
@katem3961 Hi! I have also been thinking about my three style words, and I recently watched a video with Christina Mychas in which she had a styling session with the person who originated/popularized the three style words concept, and the stylist had some interesting things to say about the “categories” of each style word…I believe that she said that she thinks about the first style word encapsulating the way we generally style ourselves now, kind of our comfort zone, the second word as embodying our aspirational style or what we want to draw into our style, and the third word being a reminder of how we want to feel in our clothes. It’s been helpful for me to consider that as a sort of template in finding my words.
Wow, what a beautiful video, first time I see such a deep and interesting analysis of the trends. Thank you very much, Alyssa ❤️, I learned a lot from your attitude to trends and from elements of style technique that you shared 🙌🏻
Love your channel!, and all of these tips!! My favorite: "What will make a look feel cohesive and fresh is keeping it all within the same saturation." I've never heard that particular tip/slant on viewing separates. Thank you for your efforts and sharing your talent with us here! It's on the top of my fave fashion channels! 💗
Wow, thanks for the surprise on a Wednesday! It is fun to check out the trends and you always are able to make me find something in my closet that is trending
I love working with monochrome styling and using a jacket 🧥 or accessory to create contrast. And a scarf🧣 can really enhance the texture of the overall look. This was very informative, Alyssa! Thanks so much. ☺️🙌
Your trend videos are the official start of a new season for me - thank you! I was so happy to see an obi belt included! I have one and am trying to figure out how to style it in a way that feels comfortable.
Very helpful ❤ great reminder that we don't need to add anything in our closet. I realize I can tweak and use what I Sustainability is a big concern of mine, thanks ❤
As always, you're the best in explaining slow fashion and giving your viewers guidlines for the optimum look. I truly enjoy watching every single videos by you. Big Thanks!
I just love your willingness to experiment. I have a tendency to go out shopping when I don’t like an outfit I’ve picked. It’s a long-term, wasteful solution to my perfectionism. The willingness to try things without pressuring yourself is really important in reducing shopping for me and I love that you model this!
Loved this video. How you distill style, recognize and are able to communicate the different elements so brilliantly is your uniqueness. I’m going off to find your podcast 😊
I always love your videos on trends. I have a very small, curated wardrobe. (We live full time on the road in 200 sq ft!) I appreciate you showing us ways to use what we have and wear them in more of a trending way. Thank you! - Michelle
It's fun watching you as I live in the southern hemisphere, so, it's autumn going heading towards winter. I don't live in a cold climate so what you wear in spring I can adapt for autumn/ winter. Fun for me 🎉🎉
Thank you very much, Alyssa! You helped me to change my mindset about clothes and it is really wonder! Seeing my pieces and (most important!) new styles as elements of style helps to chose from what I have and see my wardrobe in completely different way! I am very grateful to you for that, it is something very special you give us woth your knowledge and your work! And by the way sooo fascinated with your trip with girls, you are amazing team, each of you has very different view and vibe but together you are treasure!
I literally don't know how to dress myself. I wear uniforms at both my jobs so I just basically follow everything you say but I aspire to one day add my own flare to my style :) Thank you Alyssa for all your content! Its so much appreciated!
So so glad to hear you say "carry" a handbag 👜 as opposed to "wear". So many fashion influencers/stylists say "wear".😮Why is that?? It is so erroneous to say the least!
I always think it’s a hassle to put on and remove a belt from a blazer when you want to put on and take off the blazer. It looks great but not very practical for me. I would never wear it as a top unless it was lightweight like a blouse.
@ *LVGUCI* You are so well-informed about luxury accessories and bags. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much.
