With big videos like this I tend to make a lot of small mistakes which I will correct below: At 0:39 it should say the Lakers received Steve Nash not the Clippers.
We definitely been through a lot. I remember my dumbass younger self thought Nick Young, Wesley Johnson, and Chris Kaman were gonna lead them to success when they signed back in 2013 LMAOO. Also, those atrocious contracts that they gave Mozgov and Deng in 2016 still leave me wondering what kind of drugs Jim Buss and Mitch Kupchak were on. Lastly, I still wonder how last season would've gone if LeBron didn't injure his groin and Lonzo didn't injure his ankle, smh fuck injuries. We were robbed of maybe the Lakers and Warriors matching up in the playoffs. But, I'm beyond happy with how this season went before the damn Coronavirus broke out. I really hope it settles down because otherwise LeBron's first two years in LA would be completely wasted and he's not getting any younger 😧😧
The O-Man I was so excited when we got Nash and Howard, but I was only about 8 and didn’t really understand that they were not the superstars they once were
first being a bad superteam and barely made playoff before getting eliminated by spurs then injury happened then have your longest tenure player retired then bad contract happened then young core came and make a promising future then the GOAT came but eliminated by their own former young core now rulers of the west with dynamic duo and some key role players
Ay man I've been watching you since your very first vids breaking down Game of Zones' references, it's been great to see your channel grow in the fashion it has over the past couple years. Keep it up dude 👏
I get the Lakers are in a much better situation now. But imagine a team of PG D-Lo SG idk, Josh hart? SF Brandon Ingram Pf Jayson Taytum C Julius Randle If they never traded dlo, and drafted taytum over lonzo
Starting SG would've been Clarkson. But tbh, I feel like Tatum's development would've been ruined here in LA by Luke Walton. No doubt though, Magic should've drafted Tatum with the 2nd pick... sigh
Their mistake os they should have draft either Devin Booker or Dovonan Mitchell. They could have a big 3 with either of them, Lebron and AD. Is ironic that both went 13th same as Kobe Bryant. Russell was a great pick but the coaches did not develop him well. They should have traded Clarkson instead. True all Lakers draft picks have become good to great players.
Man the lakers were bad after Kobe for just two years and people were already saying it’s over forever for them, that all their greatness is behind them and they’ll live on past glories for the rest of their days. Goes to show you how high the standards are for greatness. The Bulls are in the middle of a 20 year rebuild and they’re still regarded as one of the greatest organizations of the NBA
I feel like Bron/AD are what kobe & dwight should have been.... its been a rollercoaster as a laker fan these past couple years & right when things are back on track tragedy strikes & we lose our greatest player 💔 #RIPKOBE #LakerNation hopefully we get this championship for Him 🙏
