It's all about the Boston Celtics now." Just don't forget that the Pacers did that too with Victor Oladipo as their best player. Don't forget about them. As a diehard Celtics fan I enjoyed this video however I was displeased there was zero mention of the Joel Anthony trade that landed a pick for Deyonta Davis which was flipped for a 2019 lottery protected Clippers pick, the Tyler Zeller trade that landed them the Cleveland 16 pick which was flipped with Thornton acquired in the deal for Isaiah, moving Bogans from the KG deal for Powell (dealt in the Rondo trade), and getting two picks used on Nader and current Celt Kadeem Allen. Also trading Wright from the Rondo deal to acquire the pick for Semi Ojeleye (and Zade R dealt for the 19 Clippers pick), trading Green for Rivers (traded for players and the pick for Bird :/) taking on a 2020 Miami pick for cutting Dragic's salary and using that towards the Kyrie trade. I'm not trying to sound ungrateful you did an amazing job with a lot of hard work put into this I'm very OCD when it comes to my Celts and how Ainge has built this team piece by piece to contend for the next decade! I'm glad to be a subscriber and hope to see you grow to a top sports channel in RU-vid.

HERE WE GO!! Did you notice no tanking? The process was compete & stockpile assets (thank goodness Justise Winslow is not on this roster). Obviously the Nets heist was #1 in the rebuild, but don’t underestimate the importance on Stevens! A lot of players have had career years under him. He’s gotten consistent maximum effort from teams that didn’t have high expectations. That in turn helped get Horford & Haywood here. They’ve been learning how to win over the last 4 years! Not trying to lose & expecting to flip an imaginary switch to become winners. Some teams regularly give draft picks red-shirt years just to get higher picks. Those same teams also wonder why #1 overall picks expect to be red-shirted! Poor Fultz thinks he’s trusting the process on his way to a paid 1 year vacation (like all before him had) only to find out NOW they want me to actually play my rookie year!! He was so baffled he literally forgot how to shoot a basketball!!

That 2008 team was magical. Everyone in New England was through the roof when they won. And ask anyone in Boston, they’ll tell you they still love Isaiah Thomas. King of the fourth. They somehow get the 3 seed and take Lebron to 7 games in the conference finals without their two stars a couple years later. And now they’re back in the conference finals with Tatum and Brown developing into stars, and without Hayward again. Love this team. They just don’t quit.

Amazing video, but something thats heavily overlooked is when we traded away Nate Robinson and Kendrick Perkins in 2011 for Jeff Green of OKC. We were heavy title favorites that year and after that trade the team never looked the same again. That exact year OKC picked up Kendrick Perkins took them to the NBA finals that year. He a joke now, but he really was a defensive juggernaut in the paint back in the day. And Nate Robinson was no joke off the bench.

Celtics are really lucky with the trade with the nets as the failure of the nets benefited the Celtics. Now the nets and Celtics have high hopes for now and the future. It would be interesting to see them go at it in the playoffs.
