Contingent that you live past the 1st 3 or 4 days once infection sets in, the organs will definitely shut down and if no emergency medical intervention is done it's a wrap. the longest I hold my urine was for 7 hours or more I was fine and I held it for too long again and I was having a bit of pain then I want to go to pee, somehow I still felt more in my bladder it wasn't ready to go out I was calm during this and I survived!

This obviously depends on the person or the amount of liquids you drink, if you drink a lot of liquids during the day, the pain might start earlier and if you don’t drink as many liquids you can go for the entire day without urination.
