Yeah. So losing his grandma the same day they filmed the scene of him losing his "Uncle Sirius" who he'd grown close to on the set (like they all had) was too much for him and he let out a real scream
None of these are breaking character. Not even close. That's called genuine reaction/improv, both of which are the complete opposite of breaking character.
Well I would say that the first is a bit of a grey area (I didn't see the movie so I don't know how it went) but other than that you sir (or ma'am or whatever you identify as) are 100% correct
@cyanfan8815 Actually, I'd argue that's the least character breaking one. They're using genuine emotion to get the reaction they want. You see this a lot on movies. What's being shown is just method acting on steroids.
@@deviousangel336someone can correct me if I'm wrong but the reason that scene is actually real is because Michael Bay used c4 for the effects so they actually are running for their lives
actually draco’s “i didn’t know you could read” line came from tom felton AND chris columbus because in tom’s autobiography he says that they were on set talking about it before filming and because that scene shouldn’t have existed at all cause in chamber of secrets in specifically says that harry takes off his glasses before leaving the bathroom
The best moment like this is in the original aliens when all the actors (besides the one with he cheatburster) are told they are just going to be eating and having small talk when suddenly one of them starts coughing and convolsuing and suddenl somethings movie under his chest. Alone with blood spray etc. Knowing this and rewatcing that scene you can absolutely see the fear and confusion its amazing.
To elaborate a bit further on the Squorpinok (transformers) one He means the explosives. The only semi-real part of Squorpinok was his tail tip and even then it wasn't as flexible as it was later in the film
By the way you have a choice speak out your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved in Jesus name amen😊😊❤❤❤😊
repent for the end is near Jesus can literally return right now so please repent cuz you cant hide or run everyone will be judged so please repent. In Jesus name Amen and Jesus loves you 💓💕💕❤
Its a simple concept still in study in the scientific and psychological fields. To tell someone to run without actually tell them what theyre running from leaves them with only room for what their minds conjur up. They dont know if theyre gonna actually get chased by something and if that something is going to be really good (im the sense of horrifying) or if its just nothing at all. After all, why take the chance to stand around and find out what the person controlling your script is gonna do? For all you know theyre gonna send a live tiger your way to make the scene real and it could happen at any time. Or there could be non lethal but painful explosives (sometimes paint bombs) that you trigger. Either way, it puts the mind to work. You basically create a scene in your head and for everyone what they think is different, but it always creates a fear drive that causes adrenaline to rush and force them to feel as though they are actually in danger.
They don't even have the best moment of "genuine actor emotion" which I the chestburster scene in the original Alien movie. Only the guy with the chest burster knew about everyone else was told they would just be eating and talking.
Funny thing is Geoffrey did know initially either. Gore told Geoff everything they were going to do in the 3rd installment and he wished them good luck. Oh, Barbossa's back by the way. 😊
Not a movie, but y'all remember when Michael kissed Oscar after he came out in The Office? Yup. That was improvised and WAS NOT scripted. All the actors'/actresses' reactions were real.
YOOOOO! Someone mentioned Transformers! The first one was probably the best movie in my opinion but did they HAVE to let Jazz die? Like my dude was awesome!
That is the literal opposite of breaking Charakter. It is improvising in character. An infamous break of charactwr would be when Matt Damon laughes at Robin Williams Monologue in good will hunting
"Used practical effects in Transformers." Yep, they were actually running from a real giant scorpion that Michael Bay was driving. No CGI in that scene at all.
