@@d.j.sen-gee5900 bro that style was made wen producers had limitations now it's no excuse for music to b this weak in 2022 ..stop lying to yoself this don't bump...and wat is that a train noise in the beat yea .. beat God huh
“If it ain’t Griselda then it’s a love song” as a real rap listener , that line makes me wanna listen to Griselda only. He’s teasing everyone! Now that’s how u validate yourself 💯🤚🏾🤴🏾
Almost hits as hard as Prodigy saying "I'm not your average cat, f*#k rap, I'm tryna make creme & that's that", no wonder why Griselda fux wit Mobb heavy!
HipHop is in a beautiful place right now... thanks to younger artists like Griselda/BSF and OGs like Preem! I keep trying to tell my fellow old heads...
The hip hop 50 EP? Unfortunately he isn’t producing the next one. There’s 10 volumes coming out, but each one has a unique producer attached to each volume. It’s supposed to be a celebration of hip hop over the past 50 years, so it’ll be different producers with different sounds, different features etc.
@@napalmsf REAL rap. where dudes get to take us through their experiences. If you aint with that kinda' adventure, go listen to some kumbaya, holding hands sh**!! ridiculous!!!
never had a wack beat in his life. dude laced EVERYONE!!!!!!! and….. not only is he the king, he is by far the coolest, down to earth cat ever. i met him in 2007 before a set he was spinning in prospect park at an amphitheater. i seen this dread, he must of been in his 50s. he had a shirt on that said dj premier, the game needs me. i said yo gang , where’d you get that shirt??????? he said premier gave it to me , why don’t you ask him he’s right there….. mind you he’s got like 15 homies helping him with crates of records etc. without hesitation i walked up to him like i knew him. i was not about to let my one chance to meet premo go to waste. i said yo, sorry to bother you, im not an emcee, just been a fan since day one. i came here for philadelphia and im speaking for half my crew who ain’t here, hard to earn was the soundtrack to out youth. i proceeded to show him my right wrist, i have Hard to Earn in a banging script being it’s my personal favorite album ever. i said any shot i could get a flick??????? he stopped everything he was doing and said only if i can get a picture of your tattoo!!!!! i said no question. i think he appreciated the fact that i wasn’t some clown trying to rhyme or ask for a beat or work an angle. he chopped it up for at least 10 minutes, threw me a shirt and idk he was so grounded and humble….. they say you should never meet your idols because you will be disappointed. not the case with premier. can’t believe it to this day

This is one of them ones though. Dope “premo” beat, Benny started it off perfect and the BSF held it down all through. It gave me 90s vibes. Am falling back in love with Hip Hop.
Understand: I'm of the generation who was coppin' Gangstarr albums when they were the new releases of their time. It's 2022 and we're *still* blessed to hear newly produced DJ Premier tracks w/ the younger fire artists of today! How dope is that?! 🔥🔥🔥
Huge Los Angeles hip-hop pioneer/fan here. I come from the Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang, Nas, Big L, Cormega, Planet Asia, Rass Kass, and AZ type of hip-hop circle and since them, a lot of hip-hop shyt has never been the same for at least 10-15 odd years........ ..........until Benny, Conway, Westside Gunn and the rest of the Griselda pulled up. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You are sleeping bro!!!! Benny is the nicest in the game right now and has been for the past couple of years! Conway is a very close second but Griselda as a whole is the realest HipHop that's came out in yeeears!
Man it really makes me truly happy 2 see how long Premo has been in the game. I'm talking since the 80's ya feel me? & 2 see my guy still getting his props in 2022 speaks volumes man. U know I always say that 2 interviews we need is Drink Champs wt AZ & Alchemist. Well I'm adding a 3rd party 2 that. We definitely need Premier on so he can get his flowers as well. Somebody tell Nore I said make it happen. & I mean asap
“I'm runnin' out of reasons to feel sorry, it's blood in the streets You gon' get mud on your cleats when the field soggy Shorty gotta use both hands and Jill Scott me” 😍😍😍😍😍😍
This knocks harder than anything on that compilation Preemo recently released. Just has that gritty rawness. He clearly produced with his old beat machine...it's drum Everyone came correct on the mic
Rough times are what we all face. Spirituality is a preparation for rough times, it is focus and energy of what is important. Rough times are a blessing or a curse, but that depends on spiritual perception.
