Actually, 1., He has overworked his voice some time ago, and was hospitalized in fear of LOSING it, and, 2, He actually does all this playful stuff partly as part of his daily hours of practice, to make it even better. He never is satisfied that it's good enough. But it's not tedious to him, to work so hard---He loves to sing more than anything else. When he was little his favorite possession was a bag of cassette tapes, which he would not stand to have parted from him. Music was, and is, the focus of his life, even though he does take time with his family. For an example of these two things combined, put "Dimash sings with parents" in RU-vid Search.

A lot of these are the young DImash and I love the young Dimash....teenage up. DO not react to the CATS video; they strike instantly. It isn't worth it anyway. The hauntingly beautiful one was a place where the acoustics were so good, Dimash could not resist.

One correction the person that put the compilation together that you watched, he's not the first. In many ways he's stepping in the shoes of Vitas, who also has incredible range and uses his voice like a musical instrument, and the move with moving the mic back and forth. And I am not even sure Vitas came up with that, but it sure as hell wasn't Dimash. Dimash does it incredibly well though!

The Crown or Kim eken (in kazakh) actually song was written in Kazakh but he translated it to Chinese. And he performs it in Chinese. IMHO this is his best song in Chinese. beautiful song
