Just finished watching Jodie’s directing episode of Black Mirror and it was so well done. Hope to see her hand in many more projects as I’ve enjoyed all of her other directing work. Love hearing this interesting interview.

Jodie was lucky for that kind of childhood where she felt safe.

This was an excellent conversation by all three individuals! I personally, could listen to Jodie Foster all day every day. She brings such depth to everything that she does and says, and have always been a bit sad that Hollywood has at times underrated her talents. Getting older is about being gracious in learning and unlearning what is important to our lives personally and collectively. I'm anxious to see what she does in the future.

Totally get DeWitt about how technology is really changing us.

I like the 60 to 90 minute format for a story. The soap model of storytelling involves a lot of unbelievable plot twists and characters change to fit plot, which is not psychologically satisfying.

That is what happens In a watershed moment. It’s painful. It’s a part of the process.

I unplugged and moved out to the mountains, it is the answer 😆 24:43. Of course it’s not all of it but wow it does help believe me. So if you can unplug a bit (I don’t mean not paying attention) but rather taking care of your health (all components), engage with those who are supportive of you, of course vote, and use up oxygen with your voice in ways that feel right to you, then yes, it’s the best you that then comes forward. Whatever you do, never give up. As imperfect as we are the vast majority of us are truly good in our core. Bring this out, it is our superpower.
