Wow, the last two videos helped me discover a lot of things I wasn't aware of. Great videos as usual. Personally, my favorite collections from Timex are Q Timex > Weekender > Marlin > Expedition > Waterbury, followed by others. As someone owning a few Timex and Casio watches, I can understand that they aren't as good as Casios for the price, but in day-to-day usage, you eventually don't care about it, as both are value for money, even though one has better specs. If someone needs a change from casio, i believe timex is the next better brand with a wide catalogue in the budget range. I'm soon getting my hands on Timex ironman classic. Can't wait to see how it battles with my G-Shock lol (I know who will be the winner but still). The Marlin you are interested in is one of my favourite timex watch too. It is easily one of the best reissue from Timex. Hope i can see the video of it soon :D
This is awesome Arun. I know a couple of Timex watches you own as we have seen it on reddit. You have quite the taste. Would love to see the others too. I personally would put Marlin on top of my list but that's because I have enough quartz watches and I am now in the market for a mechanical one... Q Timex is great too but just like with Waterbury Timex is using the heritage angle to charge more for Quartz watches. I have opened an account to start saving for a Marlin. Let's see how long it takes. 😁
@@TickTockTreasures Thanks :D i would definitely share my other watches soon and i totally agree; Timex is really riding on the bandwagon of its heritage. The Q Timex and the Waterbury are priced too high for what they offer. However, I have seen popular Q Timex watches like the pepsi version for ex going on sale for around 6 to 6.5k, which is a good deal in my opinion. But those deals are not so frequently seen, sadly.
It appears that watch designs were extensively developed in the past, particularly before the smartphone era. It makes a lot of sense that watchmakers are reintroducing these classic models, combining their vintage exteriors with modern technology inside. Great video!
It's a good thing but it's also a cunning way to charge more for watches with features and materials which other brands charge less for. Timex is milking it in the name of heritage. ..(cunning or smart)
sorry .. pal .. was not able to catch any of your new creations due to exams ... but here i am now ... i am a free bird (at least for a few days ]now yay!!!
Same taste in the mechanical line up! I wet my feet in mechanical watches with old HMTs and absolutely love them. Its so refreshing to wear something fully mechanical in a digital world. Great content. Keep them videos coming 🤭
Hey Keertan superb video…I have made up my mind - I would not be wasting my money on. Timex watch for sure…they don’t even come close to Casio…Cheers…!!!
Hi Bro, ive been busy with work and travel for past two months 😕 couldn't able to watch the videos.... Now coming to the point.. Awesome Intro.... Informative explanation...
That's alright bud. My channel shouldn't take priority over your life but I appreciate you coming back. Welcome back. Always happy to see my loyals and regulars ✌️❤️
@8:28 Just ordered the all-metal T80, currently on my way to my doorstep. I really think this stainless steel timex is the best bang for the buck. Was gonna go for one of those A-1000s but couldn't get any in my country.
I got a timex weekender watch for 1.2k from amazon where other timex weeknders watches are minimum 5k. It was actually a old stock with old price tag,but its working perfectly fine..I am happy with that purchase. I specially bought it bcz of its INDIGLO features.
@@TickTockTreasures 😅 yeah got lucky and I bought it recently in Jan 2024. And it was the only piece with that price. I even checked the original price in America, which was nearly 4.5k in Indian rupees.
I had my eyes on under Rs 1K Timex watches which look quite elegant and cost half of their Casio equivalent Enticers, but my “Brand loyalty conscience” kicked in and prevented the purchase. End result was a purchase of my second Analog Casio (MTP-V005L) at ‘dinner for one’ price.
I too personally wouldn't go for the Brass Timex from the Fashion line mostly targeted at Indians. Good choice on the Enticer. If I do buy the timex it will be either a quartz within 5k but with stainless steel or automatic or handwound for less than 10k
I don't know but I'm not jelling with the command series it's looks vaguely cheap and bulky and that casioak look-alike i mean c'mon! Timex bring back the Ironman line😢 or better yet the data link series
I have also some timex watches in my collection 5 digital and 4 analog and one automatic the expedition north titanium and i must say that the alarm sound louder than some casio's
Thank you Shri ✌️ Absolutely hahaa...they changed the dimensions a bit and made it a sandwich design but the digital window shouts 'Rip-off' As with the Marlin, I don't understand the confusion. Timex's Marlin is different from Casio's, there is the Miami Marlins Baseball Team with their own Marlin Fish. I guess even I can create my own variation of the Marlin and stamp it on my brand of watch. Casio stopped paying for the license to the Marlin Logo that which that have been using on the Vintage Marlin digital watches in the 80s.
Buddy....... Now I've to find new ways to cherish your intro 😂.... awesome intro..... In starting and mid of video I was not into timex but now I am thinking to have that automatic shown in last that's on your list😅 You are doing well Buddy..... Support and Love
