Hello. I like game arcades. This is a footage of Timezone at Mega Mall in Batam, Indonesia, which I visited in December 2023. It was right after the mall opened when I visited, and the place looks not very busy, but patrons started to arrive as I was shooting the video, and got crowded. Apparently, game arcades are very popular among families in this region, which I really appreciate. I'm sure that children, parents, and friends will have fun time here, and remember it as fond memory for long time.
As a fighting game player, it would be nice if the arcade had video game cabinets although I understand that they would not make a lot of income compared to claw catchers and other ticket redemption machines... It's still good that they have several lightgun shooting games. Oh, and they have mini bowling as well. :)
年末の休暇中に、フェリーに乗ってインドネシアのバタム島にゲームセンターツアーに行ってきました。ここはフェリーターミナルの隣にあるショッピングモール「Mega Mall」の中のTimezone。インドネシアでもチェーンを展開しています(もともとはオーストラリアのオペレータです)。モールが開店した直後にいったのでお客さんがあまりいないようにみえますが、このあとすぐに家族連れ・友人グループで賑わってきました。ゲーセン・アーケードに活気があるのはうれしいですね。
