Timing and Scheduling for Bridal Makeup 

You're content is so good, I wish there were more RU-vidrs with professional makeup artist content! ❤ I personally need to work on time, I find that it's not in the application where I'm slow it's if I over pack my kit and then can't find the product I'm looking for. Or I set the product down in a weird spot and then I'm digging to find it.. I need to slow down when putting things back. Also I am unable to find a reliable MUA to work with on larger weddings... I live in a very small town with no big cities very close so I'm a one man band. I wish I could find a reliable MUA to work with sometimes. :(

you have one of the best channels by far for those who want to be/ are working makeup artists(not ig or yt artists)! so happy i found u! My problem with time is that I'm a freakin perfectionist. I always go over the the time i give myself because I have to make sure every single lash is perfect lol...i really need to work on that!

I'm thinking about a form for clients to fill out when they book me. I definitely want to include skin type, known allergies, etc., as well ask questions about their preferences and dislikes. Anyone else do this? Angie cold you make a video about contracts, and possibly a form like what I'm considering? Thank you!

Hi Angie your my Inspiration after I watched all off your videos you really want me to be a freelance makeup artist which is my dream for a long time now but I don't know where to start, but when I watched your videos it makes me so excited and I've been buying stuff now for my kit, I didn't go to school how to do makeup but I've watched tons of videos here in RU-vid for about three years now and also practice my own makeup and some of my friends. I actually did my first wedding last week and it was intense but I had to breath in between clients and just kept telling my self I could do it and Make them look flawless in 30-45 minutes..I had to bring another makeup artist friend to help me and everything your telling me is helping me prepare for the future!! Angie I'm so glad I found your page, I have really been enjoying your videos! Timing is something I still struggle with, I try so hard to get down to 45 minutes but when I do a full face glam such as a bride it takes me usually an hour, sometimes up to an hour 15 minutes. Any tips you have to help shave some time off would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Angie Thank you for sharing excellent advice, I have experienced this myself in the pass, you definitely do need speed, a schedule is key keeping the bridal party in order, I've learnt this by working in the TV, film and theatre and photography industry. Great video and very true. I take the most time on my clients when their talking most of the time. I love the interaction but if I get done on time then the better.

I have sat and watched so many of your videos I randomly found you and I'm happy I did. Your videos are always so informative! When having a large bridal party and bringing another makeup artist to help, is it ok for me to do most of the clients and the other artist just do the few that I cannot do? Or should I split them evenly with her? I don't want to seem rude or greedy or go about it the wrong way

I have managed to find a stockist in the UK but wondered if you could suggest which shade ranges would be best for my kit? As I can't get to a store to swatch and see for myself I wondered if you could give me some guidance? Victoria x

hey Angie so i watched all your videos on how too get started on becoming a makeup artist and i have made a list but i live in Belize and its super hard too get good quality makeup here we dont have much makeup artist here maybe 2 or 3 i have tried ordering online but its supper expensive even drug store makeup i feel stuck and have no idea how im going too build my kit .

In what sequence do you do the bridal party? Do you do the bride last or first?

Do you also make contracts for prom makeup? Or any other special occasion like baby shower etc?
