This video illustrates the timing procedure for the Techsew 2600 sewing machine and similar M-bobbin industrial sewing machines.
This simple process consists of setting the needle bar height 2mm above bottom dead center and then setting the hook position to the center of the needle scarf at ~0.5mm distance. The spacing should be as close as possible without touching the needle scarf itself.
For the curious, I'm using a UNICHE stepless ratchet on the throat plate screws.

Wow!, Thanks for the great tutorial. I thought the procedure was going to be much more involved.

Ben, I purchased a used 2600 and the timing was off, just slightly. This was the exact instruction I needed to get the machine working. It works perfectly now. Excellent video.

What is the relation of presser foot with needle stroke, at what point the presser foot gets engaged with feed dog, Sir?

Hi. Did you choose this 2600 Pro over the 2750 Pro because of the smaller cylinder size? Would the narrow cylinder still do a nice job on sewing handbags? Thank you.

I did but I think that either machine would do a nice job for you.

Hey just wondering how you like the machine? I found one locally for $2000 cad with reduced & flatbed attachment! Very interested in one but don’t know the reliability? My juki is very reliable haha

this machine it should be similar or anyway in the same range of machines as the adler 069, in your video when you start stitching, it was very slow at first and then speeded up once engaged, the speed is because of the servo motor ? i mean you can stitch at one stitch per second if you want or go full gas by pressing the foot pedal with different intensity?

The servo motor allows you regulate the maximum speed of the machine. In this case I started slow and once I was confident, I put my foot down and increased my sewing speed up to the current max setting.

Ben Geisler ok the same I do with my cobra class 4, but last fall I had the chance to try the class 26 the new light to medium machine by leather machine company and when you press the pedal even just a little it throws immediately and quickly 3-4 stitches and my reaction was to lift the foot from the pedal to slow down but it stopped as it was supposed to do. Thinking about it now I guess if that is not due to the setting probably it is due to the diameter of the the wheel and the pulley underneath the table that allows you to slow down more by pressing very slowly the pedal
