Turon; also known as lumpiang saging, is a Philippine snack made of thinly sliced bananas, dusted with brown sugar, rolled in a spring roll wrapper and fried. Other fillings can also be used together with the banana, most commonly jackfruit, and also sweet potato, mango, cheddar cheese and coconut.

Just add fresh riped jackfruit or the sweetened jackfuit in can, lay a poece of j/fruit on top of the sliced banana with brown sugar inside the wrap. It is a delicious snack.

I would bet that saba bananas are only available in the Philippines. I have never heard of or seen them here in the USA. The same for lumpia wrappers. Great video, Chrissy, your skills and confidence have really imprroved as well as the fact that you seem more at ease with english. Those of us who really like to see Hannah I’m not trying to embarrass her. It’s just here in America she would be considered a unicorn not the mythical animal. But that rare and beautiful woman that does not exist in the west. And the fact that she is not arrogant or self absorbed. Makes her that much more beautiful. I took your inspiration and decided to make friend plantains myself to see if I could do it. I did it and took a pic but RU-vid won't allow it to be posted. I just didn't use a wrapper for it though. Great videos as always but me coming to the Philippines.... they eat a very high sugar carb diet..... pineapple mango...banana... breads. ...sugar... soya sauce.... I can keep going..... it's hard on me cuz I have to be strict with my diet because of diabetes and Philippines...diet is high in glycemic index.. a lot of deep fried there..... pasta rice and potatoes is a starch which is a sugar..
