I thought it was really sad in Most Wanted Wish, when Cosmo and Wanda don't treat Timmy any differently because they already love him so much that there wasn't room for them to love him more, but his own parents treat him drastically differently. I always wished Cosmo and Wanda could have officially adopted him

What’s kinda funny is that when A New Wish came out, everyone was relieved with the new show’s changes for once (Making Hazel a fundamentally nice kid, putting all the pure selfishness into a new character, and making the adults of the world really nice in comparison (except the evil principal because there has to at least be ONE warning about how sociopathic adults gravitate towards positions of power)). Goes to show how we’re all sick of seeing absurdly abusive parents and teachers on TV at this point.

Chloe’s existence unfortunately goes against the bad parents theory. If they hadn’t been so focused on making her perfect, her miserable life could come from being pressured to be perfect resulting in her being unable to connect with average kids and unable to truly enjoy life

I feel like Timmy would still get faires even if Vicky wasn't his babysitter, Mr. Turner seemed like a helicopter parent before Vicky. Though it would be hard to keep the secret of your faires secret if you have a Dad thats always recording every second of your life.

in the episode "Fairy Friends and Neighbors" they even admitted that it was "ruder" and "punishable by law" for them to ignore their son

That's what I miss the most about the new show. The stupid parents who don't love their kid. Hazel doesn't deserve fairies really. There was even an episode where her brother came back. Yet, she still got to keep them.

Hi, I’m new to this channel and again I always say this if the comment seems negative, I do wanna apologize I don’t want this to be my first introduction but the theme song to the show actually kind of explains why Timmy has fairies. I can I’m new to this channel and I’m not trying to hate. I just wanted to point that out but I’m glad to be a part of this new community. I’m really not trying to be rude and again I’m not trying to be negative and I do apologize since I’m new to this channel but again, I don’t really see the point of putting the parents in question. There is literally an episode where they abandon Timmy on his birthday, so how is it a question if it’s the mom and dad‘s fault, Timmy is miserable the theme song talks about how because of the mom and dad been kind of absent and about Vicky is why he’s miserable. It’s like there’s episodes were Vicky‘s not even in it and the mom and dad are absent. Like does anyone remember the superbike episode? Yes the Dad was trying to do something nice but I’m slayed Timmy cannot ride the bike. His dad bought him, but Dad didn’t really care. He was more hurt that Timmy wouldn’t. OK the last part I have to say I have to shower little criticism for Timmys. Mom and dad are stupid. I agree, but does say it’s stupid to buy him a pink hat because they were: “too stupid to get a blood test or an ultrasound. There’s parents that when we choose not to get the ultrasound or the results because they wanted to be a surprise if they’re having a baby boy or a girl so that’s not so much stupidity on their part.
