I hope your Mr Hissa writes a book or, because he is so clear and concise, an instructional article would do. Can't imagine how many would be benefit from his philosophy and common sense. Great video.

Just stepping back into film after a few years away. Super excited to see how much the scene has blown up since then! But this is what I needed to hear. The gear I have already (one camera in every format) is enough. Ok... I have a 4x5 studio camera and I would rather do landscapes so I'm thinking to exchange that model... But all I need to buy really is film. Thanks Timo and Nico!

Wow, what an excellent video/documentary portrait of Timo Hissa, as with @daniel egger i have never heard of him, but what an absolutely interesting person and photographer. I loved his work, his philosophy on life and photography, and your video portrait really wanted me knowing more. Excellent work Nico, i love the style of this interview/portrait, the music was well chosen. Bravo, Bravo. I will certainly check out his site. More like this Nico. Class.

I like that man. How many photos taken of you will be remembered after you die? Think about it. You go out, take 10, 50, maybe 500 pictures a day. Just seven of those are good enough. After a week, you take a look at your pictures from the last week. It's still just seven good pictures. After a month, the same. The same after a year. 50 years later, you are still remembered by seven of your pictures.
Wow…. I had given up on watching your channel I am sorry to say…. Just lost interest in the news and kickstarters announcements. Hadn’t unsubscribed yet….maybe next week I would say. BUT…wow you have made a awesome profile….a true character….someone I would gravitate to and want to listen to for hours. Honestly you have just destroyed every other photography RU-vidr’s career….. Timo has wiped out Matt Day and Ansel in one go…. Hahaha….it’s not the gear….listen everyone….stop eBaying to get the next bit of Mamiya 7 or Leica that…. He just told you the secrets…. In 15 minutes….the meaning of life (photography life)….even the simplest explanation of the zone system EVER Nico….I love this new direction…. Doubt you can find someone like Timo….but this sort of story and POSITIVE photo based content is amazing. I am so tired of gear reviewing….Kickstarter news….and BrandX fanboys going on about the next bit of gear. I just hope I picked up 20% of his advice and positiveness. I am going to put on my check shirt….grow my beard….and head out with my one camera…..and one film type. Thanks Timo and Nico :)
