he translated the german slang 1:1 in english & it just doesn’t sound right at all hahaha. The german slang „was ist das“ is equivalent to „what the hell/wtf (is this/that?)“. But if u translate it 1:1 it’s „what is this“ which sounds kinda wrong in a whole sentence.

@@ktkee7161 i just had a stroke reading that. I said something in the lines of: I love the way he says „or“ after some sentences, in the same sense as „oder“ in german. It just doesn’t work in english. When germans say „or“ after a sentence, they usually mean something like: „right?“ or „is it/isn’t it“

It is just great how Timo Werner says "or" at the end of most sentences. That doesn't make sense in english at all. But in german we use "oder?" at the end of a question like "right?" or something like that.
