cant imagine, travel alone, with a small honda beat, an uneven road, and almost noone on the street, one tire puncture and your day is ruined, days if you are unlucky, you are a brave woman
Very interesting insight on Timor-Leste, a rather obscure country. I appreciate you telling us the prices and everything, the people look so shocked to see a tourist as well, but they seem like a lovely folk. You've earned a new subscriber :D
We used to live in Lospalos (Australians) for 5 years. Jaco is beautiful but getting there was a pain as the road was so bad. And yes accommodation is expensive. food is anything you can get. We used to bring all our meat and snacks. And you pay $20USD to go to Jaco for a 10 minute boat ride! Expensive. The fishermen never want to bargain if there was more of you going on the boat. I think after the UN being there it set the prices high for many things and stayed that way. Timor is definitely for those who want to go off the beaten path…without the comforts 😅 oh and if you stay at the guesthouse in Jaco I think by memory there is no fresh water for shower.
I was googled for school assignments about the maritime sector (coastal resources and small islands) and I googled about Jaco Island and your YT channel appeared and I immediately pressed the video to watch. I immediately fell in love with your video, Greetings from a Timorese! ❤
Wanita pemberani,Tempat Wisatanya sangat sepi sekali, kenapa ya?Smoga sektor pariwisata di kelola dengan baik pihak terkait Sehingga banyak Wisatawan yg berkunjung , Sukses terus buat Timor Leste 👍👍💪💪
Interesting to see you back...and that on Timor Leste. I sailed with traditional schooner many years around Indonesia with guests. Visites Timor Leste as well a few times but had the luxury to just ho back on board and sail east.... This time different...I do not work like that anymore... You do so well...intersting information, very well filmed...I love to see the episodes. If you ever can...the islands east of Timor Leste are smalll but very intereting as well... only you might need a boat...small boats will do. bon voyage!!
Thank you for posting this timely video to Jaco. Great info and good to see how the road condition is really like. Also good tips on stocking food. Our trip there is coming up.
Hello Janet 👋. So nice to see you again 😀. Thank you so much for your wonderful presentation 😊. Very well done as usual. I hope all is well with you ❤. Mark Bensette Aux Bois 🇨🇦.
I think you've forgotten that Timor Leste is the youngest country. There's no country in this world become a rich country in such a young age. Remember, we talk about a nation not a family. You probably able to build a family becomes rich and wealthy in shorter period of time. It's more complicated than that. So stop bring that words over and over again. Let them be, let them shape their own future. You just need to watch them, if you don't like it just leave it.

Timor Leste a former Portugese colony like Macau near HK and Goa in India. I'm from Philippines. Adide from Bali, a hop from Davao City or Zamboanga City would be nice. In Zamboanga they speak Chavacano a Spanish mixed witb Visayan words.
