I'm guessing the movie is gonna be a prequel? Wouldn't make much sense to have such a young Willy Wonka if it's just the same Charlie and the Chocolate Factory story. Will probably about Wonka his history and how he got started in the chocolate industry? Maybe how he met the oompa loompas etc.

You may not want to see it but others do and will. One reason they do these remakes (apart from the money) is to introduce the character to a new generation. If you've seen it and loved the version you saw, then good for you. If what you saw was PERFECTION and the remake with Johnny wasn't better, then how will we know what this one will be if we don't give it a chance? Just because one remake didn't meet or exceed what the original did, doesn't mean others will follow the same path. There are so many remakes that were better than the original.
