Timothy very articulate in answering the Interviewers question and she did a great job interviewing by not jamming him up and let him finish what he wanted to say.
When I saw the1994 come back tour, I literally cried when he sang "Love Will Keep Us Alive" I was at that very moment living that song. I learned how to play that song while watching and listening and played it the next day as I am a guitarist of 50 years so far. It is on my set list every time I play. I also make sure I announce to the audience that it is a wonderful song by TBS and the Eagles and how much of an impact it has had on my life. God bless you Sir, may he bless you and your family and keep you all safe. W/ 💓 🎶🎸🌹I've been with you since POCO. Much love! ✌
What a wonderful tribute to the man and the song. Isn't it great that you have a song like this to fall back on when times get rough and come out on the other end positive for it!!! Love to read comments like this!
This was a great interview. I thought Thea asked some good questions. So nice to see Timothy at the Grammy's. He broke my heart when he left Poco, but I guess it was time to move on. Poco never got the recognition they deserved. Tim made both Poco & the Eagles better with that amazing voice! Rock on!
just got to c him perform down here in texas....my daughter and i got autographs and wer so close to him to take lots of pictures....he's so down to earth....
tim schmit was the perfect replacement for randy meisner....he replace him in poco and now the eagles. he is one of the nicest people to work with I hear from alot of people
FYI .. Jean WAS the knock out when we were growing up.,,along with being one of the sweetest people I know. ...and the perfect match for Timothy. It doesn't get much better!
@KathyRothschild ; Hi Kathy - how nice of you to reply to my post. I knew exactly what you meant. I had seen pictures of Jean with Timothy from the 80's and 90's - she was absolutely gorgeous. Plus she was in the Hell Freezes Over DVD. JJdebaca may very well be a jealous person. If JJ is a man he's probably envious of Timothy's fame and wife, if JJ is a woman probably envious of Jean. Still no reason to be nasty. Regards, BreezyT
@KathyRothschild - Wow - how could people (JJdebaca) be so mean. Jean STILL is a knockout - I sat right by her in NYC at the Bitter End. She's cheers him on and you are right - the perfect match for him.
I could never see Timothy as an Eagle. To me that was a step down from Poco.Poco never sold out..They always remained on top of their game and outshined the Eagles in talent and spirit.
It was political as much as musical. Glen Frey drove Randy Meisner out of the Eagles after they had peaked with Hotel California. That's when they should have ended it. But the record company wanted more $$$$$$; they had to make another record and tour for it. Timothy was available and really wanted the money being offered ( he said as much himself ). He did not "join" the Eagles; he wasn't offered a one-fifth share in the band like Randy had held. He was hired, just like Joe Walsh had been when founder Bernie Leadon had quit. They went on to struggle for months and months to create their last album The Long Run. It was a (relatively ) shitty album, easily their worst. They were burned out. Weird to hear Timothy's Poco-esque vocals on an Eagles record! Their sound changed considerably without Randy. They toured the record and then broke up. I never accepted Joe Walsh as an Eagle either. I loved him in the James Gang, even more as a solo artist. His vocals were unique to him; it sounded like "Joe Walsh singing with the Eagles" when he joined them. Same thing with Timothy. His vocals were too much anchored in his former band. I always liked Timothy for the way he thanked Randy Meisner for "paving his way" into the HOF. A classy thing to do! But when he refused to show any support to Don Felder when Felder was kicked out of the band I smelled a rat. Clearly he and Walsh were given orders by Frey and Henley, and to this day neither of them will say anything of substance about "what happened". It's as if Felder had never been in the band. So sad that such a great band was so diminished by the end.
I Just loved seeing Timothy at the Eagle concert this year in Jacksonville at the veterans memorial arena My seat was to the right of him I was freakin, screamin... I could almost reach out and touch him...The eagles will always be my number one Love Tammy of Jax
They are AWESOME ! Timothy sung more and wrote songs with POCO. POCO is considered a "country rock" band from late 60's through 70's. Timothy's last tour with POC was INDIAN SUMMER before he joined the Eagles in the 70's. I have a collection of both POCO and Eagles CD's. Also Timothy sing with others and a lot if the bands from that era tie in. Research, you'll find it fascinating. Today's music will NEVER match up to our generation of music 🎶.
None of us a great lookers to others when we age, but this woman has a more natural look, unlike the reporter. I bet she was a great looker why younger :D
I am sorry if this is rude but is your wife board. I don't know her so I don't like to make personal criticisms but she literally looks like "can we get this overwith and get out of here? " Does she know she is married to you?
Wow how mean! He's talking and your focusing on what she looks like? And being with a girl in her 20's would be just sick! He's 63. And you know if you watch closely, you can tell he needs her by his side.he's pretty much hanging on to her... It's people like you, who are so judgmental that make people like Timothy not want to do interviews. What a shame!
@@daisyjane1070 unfortunately in this instance and despite her acting knowledge she was unable to hide the tension and her animosity towards the interviewer.
It's his wife. They have been together for decades. I met them a few times back in the 80's and she was the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on.
People only say stuff like that about women never about men! Usually the men who talk that way about women are men who are alone bald fat and older. I can think of 3 men ive known all my life who fit my description. They are particularly hard on older women (women their age) They consider me a friend yet here is what they say to me todsy... "I remember when you were younger u were a real knock out but not anymore. What happened?" uh im 67...Sue
