They do address it a bit when he said he would never kill himself, because that's a sin, this was said to the detectives after he showed where the bodies were. According to his religion, he's not supposed to smoke, drink, do drugs, gamble. Obviously killing your kids. He did all of this but won't kill himself because he'll go to hell.

Goose he never wanted to kill himself. I think he knew people watching him and it was all an act. Otherwise he wouldn’t of played around with it and started and stopped and took so long and drawn out to make his decision which ultimately in the end was not to kill himself.
These trials really break down human behavior and I love it. Simple. We all know instinctively he’s guilty and faking. This is just the scientific proof.

Tim grew up in a dysfunctional family with a mother who was a mentally ill drug addict. Whilst what he did was evil, I personally dislike the idea that Tim is evil. When bad things happen, or are done to people they often go on to bad things themselves. I think very few people are born evil or become evil. People may do evil things but everyone, including the very worst of criminals, have good parts to them .

Watching different YT videos on many subjects in the last few months I noticed a trend in speech. People seem to start sentences with "so" or "I mean", no matter what they are talking about. It is really strange to me. It is a strange trend and sounds wrong. Many are saying "so what!" What for it you will notice it too, even from seemingly very intelligent people. I am not the speech police, but I don't understand it. Dr Kruse isn't doing it a lot but many have during this trial. So I mean, why?
Using the word "so" at the beginning of a sentence has a couple meanings. It's a way for people to change the subject in a gentle way. It also means the speaker is genuinely interested in what they are talking about. I learned that in college studying body language and speech patterns. The same can be said for "I mean"
@@nikrixxx6338 Yes she knows what they mean and why they are used, she is just saying she disagrees with the frequency of the usage. They both have suddenly become very popular ways of starting a sentence to the point of annoyance. In my opinion they also sound somewhat adolescent.

So I replied with some input bc I seem to be filled with more useless information than most lol. I understand how it can be annoying but I read comments for the message they are trying to get across. I think the point of this testimony is to highlight the statistical outcome of specific data. They’re not looking at history, per se. She is a forensic psychologist, not a clinical, or talk therapy clinician( at least for the purposes of this trial) She’s interpreting numbers and scales, (focusing on validity first) to present a pattern of behavior. These tests a diagnostic tools , and definitely feel rather impersonal... but I think that’s by design.
Just like child services do and other professional bodies and clearly got it wrong here . This man was clearly having some type of breakdown .... Not sure why this system allows a jury to determine a person's mental health this should be left to the professionals not paid doctors who can twist all kinds of scenarios .

"jury to determine" - the experts make the determination of his mental health status and jurors decide which expert to believe 3. "he was having a breakdown" - no question about that. The legal question is whether it is a result of a mental illness which was of such a nature that he could not appreciate the legal or moral wrongfulness of his acts OR because he was smoking Spice, a synthetic cannabanoid known to have effects that appear psychotic, like there was no tomorrow. Getting high is not a defense.
