Old ranked system was better at separating players into ranks but it’s biggest flaw was the fact the solo players would often get stuck in ranks just below where they should be (ex silver instead of gold or gold instead of play) and it was harder to rank up so it was easier to get stuck especially if you were having on off day. Most people would play until they had 3 strait losses and get off. So if that meant you played 3 games you played 3 games if that meant you played for 8 hours you played for 8 hours because you were net positive MMR
And most people would only play their 10 games, get their rank and never touch the game until next season. If I didn’t hit at least gold I wasn’t touching the game till next season
technically you can roam with mute as his ability is just to place those mute jammers down kinda like rook can roam since he only needs to place down his armor (preferably you shouldn't roam with 3 armored operators as they are basically hella heavy so you can hear their footsteps from half the map)
Facts! Back in the day during season 1, black beards shield had 1000 damage, CAVS pistol used to do 99 damage per shot till like season 3 or 4. You were able to throw Valkerie cams outside, and the old maps before the remakes were so much better. There were so many places you could spawn peak from. They looked better to, in my opinion.
There's a reason he's the number 1 banned operator jackal that is. So mute, frost, kap, and smoke good anchors but you can roam with mute after placing the jammers. Its really the player that makes a character a anchor. Wami, Jager, melsui, pulse, cav are your roamers. But all characters can be both once you play the game for a while.
@ajbrunet3276 so what if her speed is one how much time is there for set up you can easily play a angle off site and loop back. It's mostly map knowledge and not playing stupid. Most people in the game don't play it the right way anways they make up there way of playing the game. Most people don't use comms so your solo gunning all the time anyways you got to switch it up keep the enemy on their toes it's like chess be one move a head of your oppents and play mind games.
@@darrintasto1509 yes, but when you roam as her you’d rarely sprint as it’s a huge giveaway. i’d roam with pre nerf melusi. but in my opinion i’d rather just extend.
@@darrintasto1509 plus if i’m roaming i’d rather make the enemies always have to worry about me and burn time rather than hold an angle with a slower op
As an HVAC tech it hurts to hear what jev is talking about in the first few minutes of the vid, the reason it got pulled in is because it was left in to damn long😂
Doesn't matter what game you come from...R6 Rank is on par with any high skill game. The skill gap from low plat to champions/diamond is insane. Every new player is indeed copper.
12:50 The reason he knew where he was is because he didn't! On the old consulate everybody shot that door open at the start of the round off of principal and the guy just got really lucky!
im 27, ive played Counterstrike my whole life and i always tell people if there was another game i wish i was good at it would be Rainbow. This game is so fucking sick.
Siege players tend to just shoot barricades out Tim. So for Jev, that was just unfortunate timing Also yes Tim. Consulate got reworked. So you're probably thinking of the same map
The old ranked system on jev version still old version u can match up with diamond because on y4s1 the highest rank was diamond but 2 seasons or 3 later they added champ and cap of points between the squad to play rank it was 1k point if u was like gold 3 and I was plat star you couldn’t play with me rank after couples of seasons they reduced the cap to like 800 points the rank 1.0 is skill based rank the rank 2.0 is more beginners friendly is based on hidden Mmr and win/loss ratio which is crazy if u have high win/loss you could join champ/diamond lobbies
Idk if anyone told you brother, but since they switched over the ranking system everyone starts at cooper. The more you play and win with high kills, the faster you will rank up. You are not a cooper, you are like a silver 3 or 4. I think this will help you boss play the campaign for r6 and try to get 3 stars on it. It will help you build accuracy, and map knowledge while teach you to move in and out of areas while teaching you to use your gadgets. Good luck brother!
Old rank system was definitely better. Before the revamp your rank actually determined your skill there was a more competitive aspect to it, now it’s easier to rank up just based off of how many games you play, I’ve seen some hard stuck silvers get plat easier now etc
There's a lack of strategy in r6 with the new rank system, people will lock fragging operators and will play really bad, in the old siege ranked people took much care in their rank and the operators they chose, lots more communication. I suggest Tim that you watch the beaulo video that was out, he explains his opinion on ranked 2.0, maybe it'll give you a little insight.
Ranked 2.0 I’m not a big fan of. As a solo queue player it becomes very tough to climb after you get to a certain point. You lose more Elo then you gain and you get trapped at a certain rank and can’t climb anymore.
Ranked 2.0 literally killed ranked for me. I was diamond every season prior to 2.0 coming out. Then i lose one game and have to grind from copper all the way back
That's true, the old ranked systrem is way better then the new. The new ranked system is letting champions (the highest rank in siege) play with copper (the lowest rank). I mean, it's obvious that it shouldn't be possible. Before there was a limite of 1000 mmr to be able to play with other people. For example, a cooper could only play with onther copper's and bronze. Champions could only play against other champions, diamonds and some plats, like plat 1 and probably the higher end of plat 2. Love the videos Mr.Tim, keep grinding. Looking forward to the day you hit champ.
I just remembered that I actually did see this video from Jev but I still need to say that thing God he actually said it out loud while Timmy has absolutely no response to it whatsoever when Jev mentions that the best way to play Siege is to just Camp the entrances for the entire game, mechanically that's what basically everyone does and I just don't see how so many of y'all can keep lying to yourselves and say that it's entertaining to keep doing that
Both ranked systems suck ass, but the old one actually worked. The current one is essentially the more you play the higher your rank while the old system actually promoted winning with a more than 1.0 W/L ratio to rank up.
That cross on that door next to yellow, you can both hear and see feet. It is a primary staircase to be near or around.... so it is not weird to get shot there. Also.... that IS the same map you were thinking of with the "garage". It has been overhauled sense then. It had a minir changed which was in fact minor. It THEN receieved an SIGNIFICANT changed not too recently
new ranked if better for the average player, the higher skill players complain the loudest because for once the majority of players are being looked after, never before has a studio taken the masses into consideration
I used to play diamond champ elo before ranked 2.0 I've played against beaulo and many other content creaters and pro players. Back then You had to really earn that rank. Now anyone who just plays long enough gets high elo, leaving the original high elo players put in ranked games with people who don't even know all the op abilities let alone how they interact with each other, map knowledge, game sense and gunplay. The weight that the rank of champ/diamond carries and what it actually means is drastically less than it used to be leading to an entire community with an inflated ego because ubisoft decided to hand them the rank.
