In his case it’s a bit different though because he did use to be top 500 and stayed consistently GM. Thing is, GM then is like diamond now. People are wayyyyy better at the game now.

@harrybeast58 That is entirely fair, and granted the shift to 5v5 is a decent learning curve. You're also right about the increase is player skill level. My main issue is his ego. Yes, I understand going from mid to high gm, and further to mid plat will baffle most people. However, to sit there and nit pick everything your teammates do to make yourself feel better bc you WERE one of the best in the past, instead of analyzing your mistakes and improving. I just can't go along with that.

@@williamhenderson1739while I agree he could’ve swapped bap or kiri the first couple games and changed a lot of the outcomes, his teammates were going some dumb stuff in some of the games I’ve seen so far. Dying before fight even started, trickling one by one, not using cover, etc.

@@m3li0r42 I agree whole heartidly that a good amount of the mistakes made were not his fault, but once again my issue falls upon his ego. He constantly uses his former status to distract from his mistakes, not taking accountability where he could easily take a second to recognize and make improvements. I'm not saying he's a bad player or anything, but his ego and lack of accountability is in my opinion annoying.

@@dawgle2715he’s not wrong, right now I’m a gym support and I agree with them. The game has also gotten a lot faster you have a lot less times to make decisions. Back in season 8 (OW1 t500) you had so much time. Now you just don’t it’s a completely different game.

Even though it probably wouldn't have been a team wipe, sleeping the nano'd Cass saved that fight. Soldier and Juno most likely die instantly, then the Cass can focus on Tim instead of dying after killing Juno. Huge play.

Tim does what my buddies do on Moira… hold heal non stop on barely in danger players, use their fade to go nowhere, then everyone does bc they’re out of heals and no fade lol Throw in an occasionally heal ball when 1 person is like 3/4 health before the fight starts and u have my friends 😂

It's very stressful, especially as tank. Other players don't understand the role of the tank, and therefore no matter how well you play or not you get flamed. Bring support sucks too because if anyone crashes the backline in solo queue you better be able to out damage them as a sup

yes on blizzard world you do want to hold back there it works well with illari as healer in the comp and works better with sigma or orisa but most people wont back up and hold next to the door but when i solo q healer and some one plays back im 100% running illar and we will hold that first point

After seeing all his placements, I’d say Tim is around high Plat in total. His Tank id give Plat, Dps is Diamond, and Support is also Plat. He’s not a bad player, but he needs a bit of work still.

Tim positions too passively as Moira. Take a forward off-angle and stay there until they force you out. He's standing behind the Tank on Main and wondering why the enemy isn't dying.
