I own the T2's and found the bass to be lacking. I run them with my Topping NX4 DSD. On the Topping with the bass gain turned on, it brings the bass of the T2's to where they should have been. Great review.

They have a similar amount of bass to my T3 plus, I've never understood where people say the t2 lack bass, I think it may be down to fitment, like some people just can't get the right fit which would explain this, because they definitely don't lack bass. They are still the best sounding iem in their price bracket by a mile.

@@coaldust01 Definitely not a fitment issue. Majority of people like a 4-6db rise in the bass region compared to the rest of the frequency response. I've learned this with my 2.2 system with Dirac. The bass quality and low frequency extension is there. But there definitely just isn't enough bass. My Atomic Floyd HiDefDrums have the right amount of bass. My Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro's have too much bass and I have to turn down those frequencies.

@@dicmccoy I don't like listening to tracks with bass that's to dominant, but if I listen to tracks where bass is very prominent then I find they produce more than enough, I guess it's just personal preference, very impressed with T3 tuning though, mids and highs are better than t2, bass is similar but more controlled, if you like the t2's then the T3 plus might be right up your street, you could always eq a bit more bass in.

For the cost these things are amazing. I came from the Sennheiser hd 598cs- those were uncomfortable, big , and the padding starts shedding a ton after a year. Imo tin t2's are much better overall while almost meeting the audio quality (with a decent DAC) and them being almost 4 times cheaper makes it much easier. One big issue ive noticed is that the blue memory tips are a hit or miss, and i got the bad side of it; one of it was defective shape and had some weird green mold on both of them that i could not get rid of, so i threw those away. Though the few days i was using them was definitely an improved quality over the cheap-ish standard tips they had with the box - though not that big a difference for normal users

I feel you on "Higher Love" man. Steve Winwood is the single most overlooked prodigy of the 60's. I will die on this hill!

These sound fantastic but I had to get rid of them. Why? My ear canals are very small and this bore is pretty big. So keep in mind when buying. But if the fit is right then it’s one beautiful set of earmonitors.

I feel ya buddy, just recently got the blon 03's and loved how they sounded, but they would just not fit my ears, nozzle was to small, I even tried the gasket mod which keeps the tips out further and had to force them in to get a seal, then when I did and removed them the tips were stuck in my canal 😂, looking at trying the starfields next maybe t2's as well, I'm using zsn pro atm and they are way to harsh for me.

I know. I can't believe it. Really humbled by this thing. Now I don't have to make my wife's eyes' roll when I start talking about things and can just talk into a camera or phone and get it out that way... benefits everyone I suppose. I get to talk about it, my wife doesn't have to listen, and maybe the youtube universe enjoys something I babble about.
