@@johnbuoy1401 count me in . What kinda idiot will call this cheesy ..this track alone can knock out all shitty garbage these days they are calling music . This track is a Class A weaponry 🔥🔥
Unfortunately I was born in 1986 so I wasn't old enough for the club scene when these tracks were played, but my older brother was! I remember multiple 100 disc binders full of unlabeled CD's and tons of vynal that I was trusted with. It gave me an outlet while I struggled in my early teens with mental illness and problems fitting in. I can't say drugs made any music more enjoyable, but certainly put me in the mood.
Just simply fooookin AVIN IT... 1995/6 Club UK. This is easily the best mix so far, those who where clubbing at the time will know, the reaction this tune ALWAYS got says it all. Absolute throw your hands up in the air and fookin SCREEEEEAM tune. As the lyirics say "always something there to remind me" - how apt, this is one tune that never fails to bring on the goose bump, make those hairs on the back of neck stand up, fook me, my jaw is going too. Feel that foookin rush, old skool 4ever :p
I was in a club in London in elephant and castle called ministry of sound when I herd this first. There was a man dancing on a long table black man with red and white stripe trousers and yellow shirt The room had really tall daffodils ( flowers ) maybe 10 ft high mate what a night it took me a year and a half to find this tune again
An absolutely fantastic track. It truly takes you on a bit of journey which is quite rare for a tune like this, but it nails it. If a DJ is worth his salt he will sample some of this in a new track for the summer.
It´s just a perfect one from the mid 90s. As a dj at the time, I had to bring such awesome tunes like this one and fx. Passion by Jon of the pleased wimmin´ back home from holidays. Was on the greek party-island numero uno IOS, summer of 93-94-95. It was here in bars/discos like 69, Scorpions and especially the open air disco just beside Scorpions - New Look. Both tracks made lots of happiness on the dancefloors back in Denmark, together with Jaydee, Felix, Dance 2 Trance, Dj Dero, Usura, Kristine W, KLF and lots of others during autumn and winter of 1995-1996..
Travelled Cph-Santorini and boat Santorini-Ios July 6/7 - 20/21 in 1993. Maybe we were on the island at the same time. The same 2 weeks all three years. 1994 during the world cup in USA, we had the best trip. In 1995 we took the long boadtrip from Athens instead.
I was there on the island but did not attend any parties as my great auntie who was travelling with us got stung by a giant wasp and had to go to hospital. She recovered but died two weeks later in an unrelated jellyfish incident.
Don't ask me why good people this song for no reason came into my head. You all have a good taste in music i muat say. Such a long time since i' ve heard this track. Gets to me all the time.Oct 2019 respect to all listeners 😎😎🙂😶
when that riff drops it reminds of of one night in peterbrough stood overlooking the floor from the balcony in some club then this thing dropped ive never seen a reaction like it.
omg so many arms in the moments, for me this brings back the memory of hollywoods in Romford, the breakdown!!! the strobe the synths and then boooom the beat kicks back in and the whole club would take off!!
Remember falling off a podium to this tune, at a crazed night at some club in London during the 90s, when this track was played about three times in six or seven hours. 'Be we what else we may, young mortals we shall never be again'!
Memories of a couple of thousand people flocking back to the dancefloor (and probably missed transport home) when this was put on at Ark Bradford. When the piano drops, oh god 😍😍
17.......205 GTI.........£115 a month insurance!!!!! Driving round Salisbury with a car full listening to this "Top Whack"...............Priceless....:-0)
ABSOLUTELY FANTISTICHE-my very bestest favourite song from the 90's used to take the roof off SUNSET BOULEVARDO in Clydebank-THE BEST wee happening club of the decade in Scotland-Sunday nights were MARZIGANO!!
siempre algo para recordarte .... ibiza cuando ibiza merecia la pena ... cierres del ku a las 7 de la mañana ,, tremendo hit del progressive house ingles
@ianrodmac Totally agree re: Club Mix 96 V2 CD2 - I listened to that mix over and over and over, every day for MONTHS back in the day! Even now, 15 years later, it still gives me goosebumps and makes me want to laugh and cry all at the same time! Awesome!
@picklesdan I never got to go to Cream (you know what us southern softies are like - anything outside the M25 or North of Watford we shit ourselves) but I know it's reputation, another legendary club that helped keep the scene, music, atmosphere and attitude alive. LOL I'm surprised you could see Oakenfold in the booth, he's only about 3ft 6", maybe he was standing on a chair, possibly... I did go to the first Tribal Gathering, took me passport just in case, 16hrs of carnage - superb :)
@picklesdan Oakenfold / Cream / Yoda / Dangermouse / Penfold (ooooh crumbs chief - FOOKING LEGEND) - totally old skool, you've passed with flying colours mate, A+++. Collect your degree of old skool from the University of Cool with pride :) Always great to bump into someone like you bud.... Old Skool - '88-'96 - NEVER TO BE REPEATED NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN - peace....
