How do you forget about a house you own where you are born you sound really slow she know the house is messed up she just not gone pay to get it demolished they will do it for her in 60 days
My Grandparents have a house in pirates beach and that house is a fucking eyesore. They use to rent it too and it got destroyed even more. They stopped renting it about 7 years ago and never bothered to fix the damages. The only thing that ever gets done on that house is replacing the dunes
It’s been 11 years! They didn’t run to the media. It’s an eye sore, it’s a liability and it’s her responsibility. The fact that she’s still not responding should be proof that she just doesn’t care. So while she doesn’t care, she’s driving down the property value for everyone else who isn’t the mother of a multimillionaire.
@PerspectiveEngineer thank you!! This is what people on this comment section are seeming to miss.. the erosion caused by more frequent and stronger storms is renting sand and homes get closer to the damn water.
@renneedwards9826 Yeah, it blows my mind that some people see a beach house as an investment it's a dream house ment for people who have disposable income.
All the people in that neighborhood had better sell while they still can. Then they will move to higher ground, and make poor people move even further inland. Being poor might actually save their lives as the ocean takes back this stolen property….👀…watched this same pattern in Louisiana. Just hope they all move before they drown or lose their homes. Mother Nature teaches the REALEST of lessons. She is not concerned with property values.
She has insurance on it i'm sure. And depending on the clause in the fine print, if they touch it without her consent, she can sue them. So they can save their fancy talk for the news people cause they know better‼😂
That could take years. Why should they have to deal with an eyesore? A dangerous one at that, which also lowers property value of neighbors homes? This is likely their only residence (the man interviewed) and they've been there since the late 80's he said....I imagine he's already taken that into consideration for years, and will plan ahead and not let his house rot
@@MalinoisMadness888 - I hear what you’re saying but there’s no way those houses are going to be there for years. They’ll be lucky if those houses are still standing next summer.
It's was worth $1.4 Million, not billion. She was offered 450,000 after it was damaged. And now taxpayers will pay the $150,000. If it was anybody else, this would be a different situation and they wouldn't have waited YEARS for them to do something about it. Open your damn eyes!
@@mollymcsunshine Now see…normally when people are made to look/feel stupid, they just stfu and walk away. Just contact the owner, don’t go to the news about it. They’re just trying to get her to sell it to them bc they know they can resale it at higher value by saying it’s a house Beyoncé is affiliated with. That’s crazy. Punk ass neighbors 😒
Am I the only person who is not impressed by Galveston or the homes there? I guess being from a place that has actual beautiful beaches and blue water. Galveston leaves a lot to be desired.
This is a common occurrence with beachfront property. The government is under no obligation to make the people take the loss. It’s a risk the property owner willingly takes.
Not understanding the mindset of some people in the comments section. The house is now sitting on eroded land; meaning, it is now sitting on sand and during high tides, it is in the ocean. All of the other homes on the first row had to be demolished due to the erosion. The homes on the second row are still sitting on solid land. Tina’s home is still remaining because it has not been attended to since 2008, according to the news report but should have been demolished or moved a long time ago. You can clearly see that the foundation has been destroyed and the structural beams on the house are rotten and can collapse sooner than later creating a safety concern and disaster for the neighboring houses. So, why are people saying that the neighbors are just jealous cause her house is on the front row? 😂 You can’t make this stuff up!
@@Pippi-LongstockingThat’s not how it works, if the house is demo by the city, there will be a lien placed on Ms. Tina. If the lien is not paid in a timely manner they can levy other properties or assets. It would be best for Ms. Tina to handle her business because the lien the city will place on her for the demolition will be way more than if she hired a company to take care of it.
@@bwofficial1776 lol,I consider that whole area very undesirable, mustang Island to South Padre Island is the only worthwhile coast in Texas. The undesirable comment is putting it mildly on what I think of the area north of San Louis pass. I grew up on the coast and in no way would I ever want to live on the coast today because of the bottom dwellers that inhabit on the coast today!
@@kennardjohnson7875 Its so undesirable its packed full of million dollar beach houses. Most of the morons commenting couldnt afford to stay here for 1 weekend LMFAO
Beach communities need property taxes for maintenance. The homeowners are paying the taxes that keep the beaches, accesses, roads, and other amenities going.
SunshineCountryChickens, the house has not fallen in on itself, so idk what your definition of "nothing" is but many people worked their @ss of to live in someone much smaller that someone else actually owns. It is the property underneath that is actually worthless.
I’ve seen people move houses before. As long as there isn’t too much structural damage. I watched a family split their home into halves to move it from a dangerous hill. The owner and her parents, AND her grandparents had been born in the house. I get it. So far as Tina goes….she should just let them tear it down. They clearly aren’t too concerned about that home. What a waste.
@@melodylucas257If she were a what? 1st of all average people don't own beachfront property. However, if she were just a millionaire without high profile public presence whe probably would've taken that 400 grand offer years ago and not be acting so aloof.
She could at least accept the offer to purchase and donate the damn funds to charity, simply as that. The money she would get she wouldn’t miss it because she got in abundance.
At this point, no one should risk having long-term property along the coast. If it's their only place, I can't blame them. But honestly, having any vacation homes along the coast is irresponsible fiscally. Climate change will take it out sooner than later.
@@rhondah.1478 The woman doesn't need to do that. She has money enough. It's likely due for other reasons. I'm not going to assume the worst. I just think the beach house is ugly as sin and needs to be relocated. Also, that it's ecologically/environmentally irresponsible at this point. lol
Repair? Legally it needs moved, there is no longer property to reside on, it's public beach property now. Listen to the video, it clearly tells this but y'all worried about Beyonce
It is not many clear water days either. Plus, with everyone always driving on the beach, it's hard and uncomfortable to lay on. Tx beaches in general are all pretty bad.
@lalo80adams71 literally, Port author had a sewage spill a week ago. Plus TX has "beach watch" which has to monitor ecoli bacteria in the water. But if you see how often they test the water and how quickly Ecoli grows, it doesn't even come close to testing enough.
So because the same will eventually happen to them....which could take years and years, you think they should be ok with this dangerous eye sore, that depreciates the value of their homes?
As long as that house has been there, those people probably built their houses behind her beach house. It does look crazy sitting out there, tho. Tina said “Kiss my houses’ ass”!!🤣🤣🤣

@@ConnorGibbsAK I AGREE WITH YOU ALL THE WAY ON THAT ONE😂!! THE LONGER SHE HELD OUT THE MORE IT VAULED BECAUSE EVEN IF IT ROTTED AWAY THEY WOULD STILL HAVE TO PAY HER RIGHT?
Galveston wouldn’t be my first choice to build a house…my my my what are the odds of a strong hurricane coming through…I will never understand how anyone could live sooooo close to the ocean.. I know I couldn’t sleep soundly at night for fear of a tidal wave crashing on shore…
It's not "surviving" though. It's all beat up Just as I'm sure the other first row homes were, but those neighbors likely were responsible and had the homes demolished
Do you really think she can't maintain at home? 😂😂😂 Somebody is very clueless. Her daughter and son-in-law are worth a billion dollars. I know you're smarter than that. 😂😂😂 She doesn't care about that property cuz she's been places and done things that are more elaborate than that property She could care less about it. They’d still all be upset if she simply dropped a quick 200k on a renovation.. They really want that spot gone, so they can claim first row title! Renovate it Mrs. Tina, and keep it right where it is😊
