Jesus! I just saw the part where Tina is already raiding her pouches! How did I miss a lot of these, especially since she's my favorite underdog?!? Thanks for putting a series on the first page Arroz! I think I just fell in love All over again watching how curious and adorable she is about 2/3 of the way in, when Tina went back into the woods.
Wow, she was barely nursing- even at just a couple of months :( No wonder she is so independent these days (almost a year later). I noticed Tina pull back when Teeny tried to nurse. And of course, I also saw her prying open Teeny's mouth for.... chewed up milk particles? Now I realize it must be a compulsion of hers, albeit no less abhorrent. Thanks so much for such wonderful footage, as always, Arroz! You make the deep dives fun!
It's a wonders that Teeny even survived with Tina being so aggressive with grooming from the start and the raiding of Teeny's pouches. Tina is one monkey that should be sterilized.
So her baby is maybe 2 weeks old when she started checking the poor things pouches! I'm gonna assume this is what teeny thinks is normal and will do the same to her babies!
How foreshadowing the name you gave Teeny is, fast forward 6 months the fighting spirit wrapped up in that Teeny body melts and breaks your heart all at once. Seeing Skinny next to Tina saddens me, they both come from the same rank and yet they are so vastly different as mothers. Tiny is ruthless and I so wish she would be spayed while Skinny is so loving and gentle, and the antithesis of Tina! Thankfully her one and only offspring is a girl so she will stay with her mother and hopefully raise her beautiful family together. Yep, I noticed too. I had forgotten how petite she was and came back to this video and sure enough Tina was looking for food. It's a miracle she made it. 😊 I never knew about tibbits. 😦

First thing Tina starts her "grooming" and pulling out the baby's pockets to check them. Practice for the future. Tina and this daughter whose name is Trina take almost every bite this baby forages until she is a grown up.the first shot of her walking away and that little face kind of breaks my resolve that humans shouldn't have them as pets. For this beautiful baby and who she grows in to I would say ok and bring her home lol
Seeing this video for the first time and Teeny was such a cute baby. And how awful that at 2 weeks, with just two teeth, Tina was already raiding that baby’s mouth for food. Teeny wasn’t even eating solid food yet. So more of that to come.

Surprised she didn't drink on her own teets for milk !! She should like others & forage harder there's definitely food out there , look at the others they look feed.. I just commented on the last video that I hoped Tina wouldn't open this babies mouth and take food away but after watching this, I don't have much hope. Granted the baby doesn't have anything in her mouth but I suspect Tina will grab what she can when the opportunity strikes. Tina is definitely not a warm and fuzzy mom. Hopefully this baby will learn to forage like Tiny did. Tiny survived on pure grit and tenaciousness. Hunting for each little morsel between the rocks. This little baby is curious enough and looks like she is well on the way to being independent enough to fend for herself when necessary. Thank you for getting Skinny a treat. She really looks like she could use it.

That baby can handle the rough grooming..looking in that babys pouches for food bugs me, always did with tiny as well. He would work so hard to forage or get a treat.
