When 24/7 came out, I bought about 10 copies of that project. The 24/7 project was never played on radio stations in the United States, very sad. But the video of When The Heartache Is Over and What ever You Want was shown on tv in the United States.
I live in Virginia, and When The Heartache Is Over, WAS playing on the Radio.... actually the radio station has a daily evening count down....and that song reached #2 on the count down......
I can not believe Ike is complaining. Ike gave an interview of his side of the story in Tina's book called I Tina. His interview for Tina's 1986 book confirmed the way led his life and beating Tina in the 1960' s and 1970's was all true. If people read I Tina people will realize that Ike gave interviews in her book about the time period with her.
Well the person who interviewed Ike for the book I Tina asked Ike if it was okay to interview Ike and he agreed to the interview. His interview was placed in Tina's book . Tina herself had nothing to do with Ike's interview that was printed in her book. Please let us disagree in peace. God Bless -Jason.

I only read about Tina's life in I, Tina and Tina Turner/ My Love Story. I do not believe in gossip, because it is hearsay. I do believe Ike and Tina were both victims when it came to the movie What's Love Got To With It. Tina admitted in other interviews that when she sold he book rights to Touchstone pictures she signed her contract without knowing she would have no script approval. In the movie the rape honestly never exisited because that scene was made up. Ike and Tina recorded the project at Bolic Sound Studios called Nut Bush which was released in 1973 not 1974. Ike and Tina never recorded music in their living room while living in Californa. Because Ike always recorded his music in thee studio then at his own studio. The director Brian Gibson took Tina and Ike's past life with that movie by adding alot of untruths and not displaying the truth. I blame the director for all the mistakes that was done to this movie.
