Telephone interview with Tina for a local radio station on March of 2005. She promotes the "All The Best" album and talks about her life in Zurich and the South of France.
I remember hearing this on the radio in South Carolina at 16 years old and was fascinated with her. I was also so humbled that she would do the Tom Joyner Show. I was thinking wtf?
After 2000 Twenty four seven tour Tina was more into having fun time and doing something for her fans. She was not really looking for commercial success anymore.
Im glad to hear this. Even though its a little frustrating to hear them keep interrupting her i dont think they meant any harm by it and I think Tina thouht that too. They had a very limited time to talk to her so they had to ask whatever they could in that few minutes. Tina seemed to still be having fun during the interview so if she had fun I am too. Glad to hear this
I was 14 (1981) and made holiday with my father in Hollywood and i saw a taco bell commercial with Tina Turner on TV. I never saw this again, great! I'am from germany.
Tina tina was way back right . moving to eruope brought her happiness nd peace of mind, where her homeland racism is a disease that has no cure ,the interviewrs were horrible .
What? Tina Turner's version of Open Arms was never played on American radio stations. People still love her in the United States, but regular radio stations do not play Tina's music only Sirius XM radio plays her music. People in the United States did not even give Open Arms a chance. But I am sure it got played lot in the United Kingdom.
Jason Gibson and then some people have the nerve to question her motives for moving to Europe. She is IDOLIZED there while here, she hardly got the air play she got abroad.
