I think it's so sweet how Tina helped this young reporter get through her initial awkwardness with the interview. I think the young woman was a bit starstruck! This started a bit tentative, but Tina's such a pro and the girl is so sweet that they really wound up having a really lovely interview.
I read the book I actually had to put it down a few times because the violence she endured was unbelievable they couldn't put the Hell she went through .She gave voice to woman that were voiceless .Back in the 50 60 and 70 there were no services .Like she said to no place to go no place to hide RIP 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
It started rough but that was an excellent interview. I’m certain Tina must have appreciated being interviewed by someone who was noticeably enthusiastic and really interested in her.
The interviewer is trying to stereotype the great Tina Turner. It is very rude, also it insinuates that a woman or man who is violated by horrific violence has chosen it. This is not the case as the Great Tina Turner has explained to this interviewer.
I want a hug To go with that family kiss please just one hug Tina please ha!ha! I felt a psychic hug enyway ah ha....I stole a hug from Tina I love that beat.
@ATX GUY Yes, insightful questions. I think her not knowing things made it seem bad at first (not doing enough research), but the questions themselves were good and something she doesn't always get asked.
She choose to tell her story on film. Brian Gibson the director of What's Love Got To Do With wanted to turned in to a love story gone bad. I think and I believe the director and Tina had major disagreements on how the movie should be made. She wanted her story to be honest, the director wanted to go in a different direction with the movie. But the movie is old now and I am sure Tina Turner does not dwell on this movie.
Jason Gibson your right! Now she has a show called “Tina: The Musical” about her life. Shes in full control, directing it, choosing the woman to play her, etc. She now has say & will be in her perspective and her perspective only
