@@donspringstead1649 Tina Turner's assistant told the story. They had a One night stand, everybody knows. My mother is deaf, so I learned to read lips. I can assure you that's exactly what he said. And thats nothing wrong about it. They were single at the time, they had fun
@@UrbanMovement hell yeah!!! Shoot for the moon!!! Both filthy rich and enjoying life. I'd do the same thing probably. It is saddening that Tina is so ill now. She lives pretty much in seculsion and isn't to entertain or air travel at all now. Bless you Tina
She stays with Ike because he made her who she Is and when she left him, she was giving a second chance because of the Ike and Tina Turner and the book and movie that was all part of the promotions of her new start she would not even been giving a chance without that, her life with Ike, and Ike contribution to Music world and by the way a lot of the facts in the movie is wrong. she had a baby with the guy in Ike band. before she had a baby by Ike. Ike was married with 2 kids already.
i don`t know what you mean by saying "ike contribution to music" since ike and tina`s biggest hits he didnt whrite or produce lol, river deep mountain high, proud mary, nutbush city limits what made him famous wasnt his talent his music sound all the same , tina`s energy and amazing performances amazing voice was the key of the sucess shut your ass up
@A z what a load of rubbish! She worked her ass off to be where she is today, even during the Ike days she was the main attraction of the band, why did Ike's career deteriorate after she left him since he was all that as you claim? Bottom line is that Ike was never as big before and after Tina, infact he's only known because of her. What promotions are you talking about? The book and movie did not precede her solo success, her records did, she had 2 major multiplatinum albums and sold out tours, grammys, mtv awards before she could write a book about her life, not the other way round, it was her music that promoted her, the book and movie capitalized on her major musical success and not vice versa, the movie also came much later, around a decade after her major comeback. You're also forgetting that it took her almost 10 years to crack it big after leaving Ike, her solo albums were flops, she survived by doing nightclub shows and performing at hotels, so how did Ike help her? Next time don't embarrass yourself with such ignorance
