Tinamaste has been an ex-pat hotspot for a long time. It's in the perfect location! Perched high in the mountains... halfway between Dominical Beach and San Isidro. Dominical beach offers great surfing and other beautiful beaches nearby...but when you're done enjoying the beach, you're only 30 minutes back to high altitudes, cool weather, and beautiful mountain views.
But if you want to enjoy a little city nightlife or ease of shopping, then San Isidro is only 30 minutes if you go the other way...which makes Tinamaste the ideal location for ex-pats.
The only CON I can see in this scenario is the fact that real estate prices for that location are of course much higher due to this place becoming an Expat Haven.
