Tineco dirty water tank full ERROR message? How to fix

I have and love my Tineco cordless vacuum mop. But there's a problem. As soon as I start to vacuum it stops working. It tells me "dirty water tank full, please empty" but it's actually not. It's getting annoying. In this video I'll show you how I finally fixed it. Hopefully one of these methods will fix yours too!

I can't live without my Tineco wet dry vacuum. After testing over 7 brands, Tineco S3 is our favorite cordless vacuum mop (wet dry vacuum). I've had mine almost 2 years.

Thank you it worked I had to do it about 3 times hair got stuck at the bottom so when y’all do it, make sure y’all take that roller thing off and get like a toothbrush or something and clean all up in the inside of there and dry it, it might take a few times it worked for me thanks againagain because I was just about to throw it in the trash

I've done all this before using mine today and it was the worst it's been so far. I'm make sure I didn't miss anything. I actually put a brand new Hepa filter in.

Fantastic! I love hearing that my video helped! I’ve gotten really good at fixing mine even since this video. It’s almost always some sort of blockage. Like cat hair on the brush roller. It’ll make it through self cleaning but it won’t clean right. It’ll put down too much water, for example.

You can remove the sensor! Where the filter goes, unscrew that and take out the large long metal SINGLE piece... not the double one). Put it back together and bam, just empty when your clean water tank alerts you that it's empty.

How? I took apart the piece where the filter is and there's no sensor in there. I've tried everything so I'm sending it in for a warranty claim

Mine is brand new and I'm getting the error message, meanwhile the vacuum won't even start because of the error message yet I've never used it once before. The tank is immaculate. This is a horrible brand that I will never buy from again. Very expensive model too.

I haven’t had that problem. I’d contact customer support or check out their Facebook group (use search and put in battery). If it’s under warranty they’ll replace it. Good luck!

I have cleaned and cleaned mine it still says e Mott water tank!! So frustrating this is my 2 nd one that has done this 3:27

I've done all the cleaning, and I'm still getting the DWT FULL error. I have done this with success before, so I know that the cleaning can make a difference, but there seems to be more issues with this error kicking in and not resetting.

mine has been acting up as well! i keep getting water tank full! i put a new roller, new filter and i even sent it back to get repaired with tineco and i got it back with the same issue… i’m done!

This think is the most annoying all the fcking time happen, most of the time is wasted on cleaning the machine and not the house so is worst buy ever

This is a huge problem with Tinecos and thier competitor Dreame. Their design is trash. The products are trash. Go for a floor cleaner with a float sensor.
