Hi Erin, first time viewer and I really like the way you conducted this review on the Tineco Floor One S5. You stayed on point without providing unnecessary or irrelevant information on the product. I'm not a big fan of people who run off on tangents and really don't say anything about the product they're reviewing, so good job!
This vacuum is ah-maz-ing! I have been struggling with stickiness on my wood floors for a while now. Bought a popular, inexpensive steam mop and found it really hard to move around. The Tineco cost a lot more but is so easy to use and cleans much better than the steam mop. Worth. Every. Penny!
I just got one of these. One of the best things ever! I did have the red light the first time cleaning some floors that were previously cleaned with "swiffer" type pads.
I love your presentation style and high production values. I am looking to lessen the workload on my shoulders and hope this style of vacuum will help.
Great review Erin. You got me thinking about how to integrate this mop into my home to automate cleaning along with a vacumn/washing robot and a Dyson stick vacuum.
I have several Neatos, the iRobot vacuum and mopping robot, and to be frank, aside from rugs and carpets, this thing can just replace the other tools. It does it quick, efficiently, it's simple to clean (there's a self-clean cycle and also changing the dirty water bin is easy). Most importantly you can mop your floor but this acts more like a commercial floor scrubber where it doesn't just spread around the dirt, but continuously deposits fresh water and sucks up the dirty water. It's light enough that you can just push it around and then wheel it over to your self-charge/ self-cleaning stand. Minimal maintenance. Definitely recommend. Should say you should get it soon bc I just read that Bissel is trying to block sale of this because Tineco outperforms Bissel and everyone is buying this, so Bissel is trying to use some bogus patents to block sales in North America... I will be getting another one... I have the lower end model and will probably get the new higher end model.
@@ew7711 I want to get a Tineco. I plan on still using my Dyson stick vacuum as my main vacuum that I will use before doing s second run over floors with the Tineco. The Dyson will get into tighter areas that the Tineco won't fit into.
Hi great video thanks. My wife has long hair like yours and she complains it gets caught up in the roller of our present vacuum. How well does this vacuum handle long human hair?
I bought a Tineco S3 model and absolutely loved it had warranty purchase with it thru Best Buy and my vacuum I decided to go on vacation 😂 retirement I took it to Best Buy they are amazing got lucky to be upgraded to S5 model due to S3 is not available. 😊 can’t wait for it to arrive in 5 days. I had a bissell mop vac first before Tineco and thru research review I am glad I gave Tineco a try I feel like I will be a loyal customer as long as the product is 🔝notch. With shinny floors high gloss this machine is so worth it to purchase
This looks great for cleaning in homes with animals. Not sure why anyone would use it to pick up large food scraps when it would be easier to pick the large pieces up by hand rather than having to take apart the machine to clean it out. But to clean up after dirty pet paws this machine looks amazing.
I'm thinking of buying the S5, but my tiles have a little bit of structure. Not as smooth as yours, my old Bissell crosswave had different brushes for different surfaces. I'm a tad worried that this brush doesn't completely clean the deeper parts of the structure. As I can't tell how deep the microfiber brushes can go, plus that there's only one type. And thank you for the video and explanation.
Hi Erin! I like reviews where the reviewer is transparent and says what they think. You seem to do that which inspires confidence. But here's the rub:. I notice when people ask you really crucial questions related to competitive products, you respond as if you cannot pitch the pros and cons of the competition and delineate which competitor might be a better buy for different segments of the buying public. Is this because it might not go over well with the manufacturers that provide the products for free for you to review? It is imperative to transparently indicate to your viewers why, for example that you say that another vacuum mop you recently tested did not provide a certain feature but leave that "recent review vacuum mop brand" name secret. For goodness sake, tell us which one, after your testing, you feel is a better value! Do not merely say "they're both good". If they are really exactly the same, just say you think that they are clones. This comment is meant to be constructive to help you improve and know what perhaps some of your audience is searching for. I suggest you look at one of your compatriot's reviews, Motormouth, to understand just how fantastic interpretive value comparisons can be! Thank you for being open to upping your content!
once you buy this, it will be indispensable... i mention this in a reply to another post, but thought i should mention that i came across this review bc i bought a lower model of the Tineco and wanted to watch a review of a more expensive version (bc i like the first one so much); however, i also read that Bissel, their competitor, is trying to block sales of the Tineco based on some bogus patents bc obviously the Bissel doesn't work nearly as well and everyone that has bought Tineco won't go back to Bissel, and so rather than improving their product, well, they are trying to sabotage their competitor... so... best to buy it asap or you might not be able to later!...
I agree 100%. I originally bought a bissell cross wave & returned it as it left streaks & really didn’t perform very well. I now have the tineco & it is a far superior product. Cleaning time is now cut in half & a whole lot easier than vacuum + mop & bucket. I would give tineco 10/10 & bissell 5/10.
@@lindaizzard1437 does any of the tineco’s have the option of only vacuuming though? As the bissell you can choose when to use the water/mopping option
Great review. Have you done one on the Tineco iCarpet CARPET ONE model? I like how you actually show HOW to use it, or at least talk about your review on how many times you had to pass, etc.
Great review but id never buy a Tineco again. I was a really big fan of my S3 until it broke. Mine stopped charging and Tineco will not repair or even advise me where I can get it repaired. all the said was they are very sorry and I can get a 10% discount off my next order. Bissel Crosswise is a better option because you will get the support if anything goes wrong with your machine. Try yourself and send them a email it took me over a week before I even got a answer.
It’s not the vacuum, it’s the battery. Just like iPhones, power tools or anything else with a Lithium Ion battery… sometimes they go bad. Pro tip: I buy a couple battery replacements off Amazon and keep them boxed up until I need to replace them. A Tineco (compatible) battery (which is the same and sometimes better than OEM) is only about $40 on Amazon and super easy to replace. Your Tineco will be as good as new. I do this often for my Ryobi power tools, too… like I said, it has NOTHING to do with the vacuum or brand itself, it’s a power supply issue, that’s all!
What is the most powerful floor cleaner you have tried? Looking for something to use on tile. Vacuum feature is not too important as I like to pre-vacuum first.
If you're with the "set it, forget it" crowd there are caveats eh? What time you make up using the S3 vs. Swiffer, you lose on maintenance. The weak link is vacuum, no matter how careful you are with maintenance, if you as in the commercials, run down the diarrea or vomit ... you'll be immediately rewarded.... with a clogged intake here! These are great for the time concious bachelor that spends more time online than out on the Lake fishing, woodsy pursuits over there! if you have both kids and a couple dogs, a handyman partner that is "outdoorsy" stick to a more robust machine. 1.These things are cloggy and require flushing. Unless you plan to buy the expensive brandy-ish replacement rollers, you'll soak the rollers in a bucket, wring and dry them. 2. Expensive as all, expensive? Expensive as Lions Tickets! 3. Once the HEPA "filter" cloggs it''ll put down the wet stuff, and there it stays. 4. I personally don't like the Tine-ECHO brand squeezing type juice, I like the Hoover Brand but it;s suddsy but not like a rack of Point! the Tine-echo brand leaves dirt. the Hoover Brand cleans but never use the hot stuff as it tends to casue the suds. Follow these simple rules and theres something to invite the friends over to admire!
I cannot find my paperwork for my Tineco ONE S 5, I cleaned it and now it won’t run. It had a symbol flashing white that looks like a battery, what is this symbol please? Help
Roborock is in Canada! Will you get the chance to review the S7 with Auto-Empty Dock? Maybe the Dreme L10 Pro or Z10 Pro with obstacle avoidance? Also, Tineco is owned by Ecovacs
You got it: Roborock S7: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cWWPIEnd-Q8.html (no auto empty dock yet and Dreame D9: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-F4L_rm26JBo.html I'll put the others on my list... ;)
You could run it over carpets with very thin pile. But it is not designed for carpets and not designed to be a vacuum only. The hair filter on the inside is not very big and it would clog up quickly
I might have to put together a video review… But in all honesty they are both quite similar. Off the top of my head, I think the Roborock dyad has an extra roller. But I will have to do a detailed comparison to see
You can on small jobs, but it’s not really designed for that. The hair filter is quite small so I feel that if you were doing a lot of vacuuming it would just get clogged up.
Hi Erin, thank you for your review. I just bought the S5 and I've been told that I can use it to clean (with water) rugs, is it so? Also I don't find instructions on the internet, so I didn't use yet.
Is it ok to leave water an solution in it so you can use it when you need it or it’s not recommended to leave clean water and solution in it day and night
@@ErinLawrenceTV Hi thank you for your reply just seeing this i havent been leaving the water in it but good to know that it will be fine. should make for easier cleaning as well.
What are the pros and cons between the Roborock Dyad and Tineco S5 Pro? Which one gives the best clean? (I have heard that the Roborock Dyad only cleans in the forward pass, is the Tineco S5 Pro the same?)
Hi, I really want one but we are moving abroad and want to make sure the charging dock will work once we are overseas this summer. In the US we use 110-120 voltage and overseas they’re using 220-240 voltage. Could you please do me a favor and check the dock? I’ve been searching viciously and cannot find this information on the internet!
how loud the voice of vacuum cleaner (when it speaks). Could I clean house, if kids are sleeping? Could i vacuum my tatami room with it, or them become wet?
