Wow. you are amazing. I stumbled onto your channel after watching some metal shaping videos and looking at some heavy equipment to do what you're doing with just hand tools and a vise.
Hi. Since tinplate is so thin, the edges will always be a little sharp. However, if they are very sharp from being cut with shears or if the corners are very sharp, you can dull them down either with a small flat file, filing the edges at a 45-degree angle, or with some fine sandpaper, like 400 grit. This will make the pieces much easier to handle. Give it a try. --Tinplate Girl
